The ugly truth: my attitude really stinks today. And then I turned around and got on Seth's case for having a bad attitude (projecting much?!) when really I know he's just picking up my yucky vibes. I felt defeated from the moment I woke up today—like the day was already kicking my a** before I even got out of bed. And I tried to turn it around by cleaning things but just ended up frustrated by how much harder it is to scrub a bathtub while wearing a baby who does not want to be put down at all. So here I sit. Quiet time. Reflecting on where my heart is and searching for grace. And I'm trying to list all that I have to be thankful for in this moment, because it's a lot, and if I focus on all of that maybe (just maybe?) I can kick out the negativity. So I'll start with the way her hand is resting on my chest as she sleeps in my arms. Yes this stage of life is exhausting and sometimes frustrating, but predominantly it's the sweetest thing in the world. #eadenkai #motherhoodrising #bringingbackthevillage #honestmotherhood
