Putting up a front, pretending like everything is just okay. It's not. I can't tolerate it. Not one more bit. I'm trying so hard not to say too much or too little. I'm trying to just watch you from the sidelines so I can somehow just repair myself on my own. The honest truth and the fact of the matter is.. This is extremely hard. I feel like I'm watching you slowly slip away from between my fingers and I just can't do anything about it. The one person who I thought brought the truest romantic love into my life. You just took it away and ran. You ran and here I am again. Back at square one.. exactly where I began and where you met me. I'm left here again in the dark and alone with my thoughts every single damn night. Every step that you walk away from me, it's another broken piece. I feel like all I ever do is set myself on fire so everyone else can feel warm. So YOU can feel warm. I'm seriously struggling to catch my breathe chasing after something you're not even sure you want anymore. I gave it all to move forward. But here I am again. Back at square one. Left with all of the same empty and broken promises.
