I cannot stress enough how important it is to stay healthy! I know it can be hard for some to start a healthy daily routine, such as eating right and exercising, but health = LIFE! We have SO MANY GOOD YET UNHEALTHY FOOD AROUND US! Which is why I say it can be hard.
I've lived in a country that provides very little access to health care. I am so fortunate to even get to email or call a nurse to ask if I'm ok when others can't! I grew up to my grandmother always telling me to eat vegetables! I grew up to eating a lot of home-grown recipes.
During my pregnancy, not only I've been very self conscious about my own health, but my growing child inside my womb as well. My mom has been giving me lots of fruits and vegetables for me to eat. My husband would recommend different variety of food for me to cook so we can all expand our tastebuds. Everyone has been so supportive with my healthy diet, expect you.
I have learned that elders are unknowingly judgemental and ignorant. But to say I am "not making my baby happy by not eating good food (good meaning sweets and unhealthy)" is a shock to me. How do you know my child is unhappy in my womb? How do you know he's currently unhealthy inside my womb? You are not my OB. My OB has been very proud of me! I think if a professional is, you should too.
And please, sugar buns, or cinabums, or whatever those fuckers are, are not good to eat BEFORE BEDTIME!
Your health, not mine. And leave mine alone.
