Summary: Year is 2068. War has been eradicated, so have all human emotions, emotionally incumbent objects and sentimental stimuli. Elysium is a totalitarian city-state that was established by the survivors of the World War III, governed by the Tetragrammaton Council, and led by Mother — a figure that goes by the name of Symmetra and only meets with the highest members of her clergy. The rest of the world, the Nether areas, are regions occupied by the resistance known as “The Underground” and otherwise deserted. To oppose this resistance, the Tetragrammaton Cleric are the arm of the law and bring death to those who chose to disrupt the tranquility of Elysium. The Elysians took upon themselves to lead a peaceful life do so by taking daily injections of a drug called “Prozium II”.

Hanzo is a high-ranked Cleric, relentless and disciplined. He kills his partner in cold blood after he discovers Gérard Lacroix was a sense offender. But what happens when he skips a dose of Prozium accidentally and ends up meeting a sense offender that’s about to dispute everything he has ever learned in life?

Anon, I am a real life abuse survivor and what people ship does not affect me because I can easily avoid content for ships that I don’t like or find triggering if I exercise the barest amount of responsibility for my own online experience just as every other abuse survivor can.

What affects me as an abuse survivor is seeing people constantly put my abuse on the same level as fictional stories about fictional cartoon characters who 99% of the time are not even children, seeing people constantly mis-use the word pedophilia to describe anything and everything other than actual CSA, seeing people constantly falsely accused of being pedophiles and pedophile apologists—including multiple other CSA survivors—over the fictional content they read or over not wanting to see their abuse trivialized by having it compared to that fictional content or even just for not wanting to get involved with this ridiculous fandom mess to the point where everyone on this entire website has alarm fatigue over it and doesn’t take actual allegations of actual predators seriously anymore.

What affects me as an abuse survivor is seeing people constantly use me and other CSA survivors as prop in a cyberbullying campaign over ship wars, using us and their so-called “defense” of us to justify telling people to kill themselves, that they deserve to die and be assaulted, and making an absolute mockery of the abuse that I went through and that other CSA survivors have went through by having the audacity to act like shipping an 18 year old cartoon character with another cartoon character in their 20s is just as bad as being sexually abused as a child.

That isn’t me “supporting pedophilic ships”, that is me being absolutely against a fandom culture that normalizes abuse of other fans and puts the well-being of fictional characters who do not exist over the well-being of actual, real life human beings and actual, real-life abuse survivors while advocating for people to take responsibility for their own online and fandom experience by using the resources available to them to avoid content that they don’t want to see.

The guy who traumatised me? My cool older friend who liked cooking and hiking. It would be impossible to tell he was into underage boys just by looking at his blog.

This practice of trying to out people as paedophiles for shipping something you don’t like or being on the side of the ace or kink discourse that you don’t like is doing more harm than good. Innocent people are being bullied and having their mental health ruined while actual child abusers are going under the radar.

When I see a callout post for an apparent paedophile on here, my immediate first though is ‘I wonder what their unpopular ship is’, and not ‘I should block this dangerous person’, because so few of the posts have solid evidence behind them.

I’ve seen countless people on here point out that ‘alarm fatigue’ is an actual thing and quite literally BEG antis to stop using words beyond their actual fucking meanings, but nothing’s come of it. Not when the most blatantly manipulative and off-the-rails elements on here can continue relying on ‘pedophilia’ as a nuclear button to make sure that anything which ‘threatens’ their precious preferred ship is destroyed, regardless of cost to actual, living and breathing human beings.

Idk if you all follow my twitter acc, but my dad was at the emergency today. He woke up with 39-40 ºC fever, he was delirious and everything. The doctor confirmed he has pneumonia (which was what my mom and me suspected at first this early morning).

The good news is: his lungs inflammation are at the beginning, it’s curable and it also means that he has to take medications for two whole weeks (maybe more depending what the doc says).

So I’m taking commissions to cover the hospital bills and medications. Everything is around 450 bucks (I’m still looking for a place where I can find his medications for a cheaper price)
