HanaKoi: Fleeting Blossom

hanakoi: fleeting blossom is my (heavily wip) visual novel about my ocs :]

valentine's day is coming up, and hanahaki cases are on the rise. as with everywhere, most students at harukage high school are scrambling to plan the perfect confession, before they're consumed by the blooming feelings within them.

even just getting it off your chest is enough. even if they say no, you'll be alright in the end!

but not everyone is so confident.

As a fellow dev, I'm curious what software you're using to make the game?

so. funny story. i'm not actually making it yet ^_^

i was GOING to use kohanavn, but its existence is... dubious at best?? the site is up but even after like a month there's nothing on the app store

hypothetically i could use ren'py. i have a laptop. HOWEVER, said laptop is really old and takes multiple minutes to start up and freezes when i do so much as open a new tab in any browser. so i don't want to try making a game on that thing

i'm restricted to my phone at the moment but i think i'll probably use ren'py when i get a new laptop (i've been needing one for a little while anyway for multiple reasons, including school and utau)

it's really a case of whichever one becomes possible first. that's also why i don't have a steam or itch.io page, or some vague idea of a release date
