Before you could reply, he started running again, his grip tightened around your arm.

You swung your feet as you waited for Sakura outside of the recording room. She was your best friend in the whole wide world. You were a part of the Tsukasa, Natsuhiko, Mitsuba, and Sakura crew and it was the best thing you've ever had happen to you. (but sometimes you felt that the only brought you so you could exocize the hell out of Hanako's crew. But you still like Yashiro) It was a few minutes from midnight when you finally became bored.
"I'm done, Y/n." The door opened and Sakura popped out with a rare smile.
"Sakura!" You walk over to her and take her hand. She blushes a bit. "How'd it go?"
"Perfect. I think." She turned to you. "I-I need you to know something."
"What is it?" Her blush deepened.
"I don't know exactly how to say this...." She placed her hands on your cheeks. "I think I like you."
"Y-you do?" You were kinda surprised.
"But I'm going to have to go away for a while." Sakura sighed.
"eh?" The bell started ringing. "Wait why is the bell ringing? It's midnig-SAKURA!"
Sakura's body was slowly chipping off. Like glass.
"As I said, I'm going to be leaving for a while." Sakura patted your head. "I don't know how long i'll be gone. it could be three days. or three years."
"W-why are you leaving?" You didn't understand. Everything was going so fast.
"I'm guessing your friend's short life line was expanded and the sacrifice was sacrificed." Sakura guessed. She was breaking. She was dying again.
"Sakura...you can't leave." you started crying. "I won't let you..."
"You might not forget about me, but this will make your job easier." Sakura said. "Don't cry. Again, this is better for the-" You interrupted her with a peck on her lips.
Sakura POV
The feeling of breaking....it felt very painful. but when I felt Y/n's lips brush against mine, I felt somewhat a piece of the pain lifted.
"I-I love you. That's why you can't leave." Y/n's eyes filled with tears.
"Y/n, I can't do anything to st-"
"Can you try?" Y/n bit their lower lip. "I'm going to try and keep you here even if you hate it."
"I-Y/n..." I looked away, for I feared I would start to cry. I need to pull it together. For Y/n.
"I-I won't let you go. You have to stay!" They acted like I was breaking up with them.
"I can't do anything. I'm..sorry." I gave them an embrace. They clutched to me as they cried. I took a deep breath. The pain was starting to leave. I was starting to leave. "Look up."
"Huh?" They looked up and I pulled them into a kiss.
For a minute I thought they'd pull away, but they really didn't want to let go.
Y/n POV
Sakura pulled away, her eyes sparkled. Was she crying? She kept on breaking into pieces.
"D-don't go...." You said as you shook.
"I don't want to." She was almost gone. I pulled her closer to me. "But I love you."
"Sakura...." The tears were coming once again. like a storm. She was gone. Turned to glass. The last thing I saw was her sad smile. And her beautiful emerald green eyes. "no." She wasn't gone. She's still here. She's just somewhere else. But that's insane. "no no no." You crumbled to the floor. "I love you too. why did you leave?" You were crying so hard that you were shaking and you couldn't get back up.
You screamed. That's all you felt like doing. Screaming. When it came to break ups, screaming was the solution. Some people sob and spoon ice cream into their mouth, but you screamed. And recked your room. You usually screamed until your voice was gone so no one'd here you cry. But on occasion you'd call Teru Minamoto.
You might've been the only person in the whole world who wasn't head over heels for him. He could be annoying, but everyone else said you were crazy and he called you "a normal person" so he was your best friend. He once called you cute. But that wasn't important.
You pulled out your phone, already dialing Teru's number. You sighed as the phone rang.

I have this habit of twirling and curling my hair when i'm nervous and it's been happening more often. Probably because Y/n and I are closer. "Oh right." Yashiro seems unaffected until her eyes widen. "HOLY FISH TANKS IT'S VALENTINE'S DAY!!!"

"I FORGOT. OMG I FORGOT I FORGOT AHHHHH!!!" She cried.

You waited for Yashiro outside the classroom, not wanting to see who she's asking out, checking the time every five seconds. Basically this is how you spent the last 26 minutes:
You: *looks up at clock* WHAT TIME IS IT

You: *angry*
Clock: *can't feel emotions. can't feel scared*
You: *gives the clock the stink eye*
You: *sees that it's 8:39 and twenty one minute's until class* damn it
You repeatedly did this until you realized the clock wasn't moving and 26 minutes later it still reads: 8:39. You checked your phone (which honestly you should've done in the beginning. Don't trust school clocks) and just as you did Yashiro come out from the classroom.
"Hi Nene-chan!" You hug her. "You excited?"
"I-i'm worried." Yashiro said.
"How come? This guy's gonna fall for you immeditatly!!" you say. "Can I see who it is?"
"No!" Yashiro blurted out. "I mean no...sorry it's a surprise."
"O-okay." You smile.
Students started pile-ing in and you wanted to go last so you could see the look on that lucky guys face! You waited a little bit, and when you opened the door, you felt like the luckiest person in the world; The only person with a love letter on their desk...was you.

You felt the air against your back as you fell, your hair flowing in front of you. You screamed so hard it was like singing your lungs out except it hurt. For a moment, you thought he wouldn't come. But that thought was quickly dismissed when you heard your name being called.
"Y/N!!!" Someone called. "y/n where are you?!" The door swung open and as expected: Hanako was there. He flew to catch you, but a table that was below you bet him to you and you fell on the table. You felt the impact like an explosion. You moaned in pain. Hanako stood on the table.
"Too late...." You smiled.
"No I wasn't." Hanako sat down, putting your head on his lap.
"You were. The table caught me." You insist.
"You sure?" He asked you. he put his fingers in your hair, waiting a moment as if to ask you. You nodded, and he ran his fingers through your hair.
"yeah you didn't catch me." You say. "You didn't get me."
"Are you sure?" he repeated.
"Mhm." You nod.
"Well, I'm going to prove you wrong." Hanako declared.
"Hanako I'm wayyyy too tired t-" before you could finish, Hanako pushed you off the table. "WHAT THE H-" and before you could hit the ground, Hanako caught you.
"see?" He said, floating us back onto the table. "I caught you."
"..........no." You finally say.
"No what?" He asks.
"you can't throw people off of things to prove your point." you say.
"Why not?"
"Because that's just something that you don't do. Like running with scissors." You explain angrily.
" I run with scissors all the time." Hanako says.
"I-no. Ugh you're so much to handle." You sigh.
"So are you. I just had to save you from falling. Twice." you roll your eyes. "I think we both know who's the bigger handful." You rested your head on his lap once more.
"Yeah shut up and I'll stay." You say. He blushes but is silent.
After a minute, you felt something. A serge of emotion.
"hanako?" You ask.
"Mhm?" Hanako looks ahead.
"Can you do me a favor?"
"Sure. What is-"
"Look down at me." he looks down at you. "Now close your eyes."
"Wait why are you-"
"Shhh and do as I say. After this I'll owe you a favor. is that better?" He rolls his eyes but then closes his eyes.
"No peeking." You, summoning all the courage you have, lift yourself with a hand, and with the other, grab his face and pull him into a kiss. You close your eyes, but you can feel his eyes open and his cheeks heat up. After a moment, you pull back, and you couldn't help but grin. You moved off his lap, and entwined your fingers with his.
"I-.....I'm sorry..." You say, looking down at your lap. You felt his hands slip from your grip. Then you felt him grab your shoulders.
"D-don't be...." You looked up at him. he was blushing, but he looked less embarrassed.
"I-"
"WE'RE BACK!" The door slammed open and entered Kou and Yashiro, covered in lizards and blue slime.
"Did we interrupt something?" yashiro asked as she brushed of some the slime off.
"N-no I'm just-whatever I was so worried about you guys!!" You said.
"How did you get all the furniture to float?" Yashiro asked Hanako.
"I didn't make it float..." Hanako looked around and stood up. " This place is actually haunted."
"Took us a while to realize that." Kou shook his head. Hanako picked you up bridal style and floated you down to the ground.
"Wait did Hanako find you or what?" you ask tugging on Hanako's shirt. He didn't put you down.
"No he didn't." Yashiro pouted. "Mean while, we were actually knee-deep in gross goo!"
"Here let me help." You tore a part of your toga cosplay and (jumping out of Hanako's grip) gave it to Yashiro. "I bet I we can use my sweater too."
"Thanks Y/n." Yashiro smiled. She looks around, grabs your hand, and pulls you to the other side of the room, avoiding the dancing chairs.
"yashiro let go of me!" You whine.
"I can smell something...." Yashiro whispered.
"What?"
"I SMELL SOMETHING." Yashiro said like she was declaring she'd won a war.
"uhm is the goop smelly too?" you ask, ready to back away.
"I CAN SMELL LO-" You put a hand over yashiro's mouth blushing intensely.
"sssHHHHhhhHHh." You say.
"Did you kisssssssss?" Yashiro asked.
"Once but it doesn't matter." You wipe away some slime from her face. "We need to get out of here."

Kou had been swiping his staff around, *hopefully* clearing the house from ghosts. Some of the rooms were creepy, but known like the one you and Hanako were in.
"BOO!" You jump into Hanako's arms. A translucent girl with long black hair and blood red eyes came out from the wall. She hackled evilly.
"t-that wasn't funny!" You say, on the verge of tears. You then realized that you were clinging to Hanako and quickly stood up.
"Yes it was." She said.
"Hey don't mess with Y/n." Hanako stepped in front of you. "You know that it's unnecessary to scare her."
"This is my territory. I get to do whatever I want." She smiled. "So if I want to scare the hell out of your girlfriend, then I'll scare the hell out of her!" Hanako blushed when she said girlfriend, but he held his ground.
"Uhm, Ghost?"
"Chisuke." She corrected you.
"Chisuke, you can help us, right?" You ask, taking her hand.

You woke up in your bed under the warm covers. It took you a minute to realize that you were shirtless. You covered you mouth as you screamed. You turned over, and you saw Hanako sleeping besides you. And we both know who's name you cried out.
"Hanako you can put me down now." You were still blushing, but you weren't tired. All these butterflies are making you energetic.
"You sure?" Hanako asked as you ventured through the not-so-scary haunted house.
"Hanako." Yashiro said.
"fInE." he put you down, a smirk on his face.
"So where are we?" Kou asked.
"Wait Kou I thought you knew...." Yashiro said.
"No Yashiro it was definetly you who was supposed to be keeping track." Hanako said.
"Hanako you were supposed to remember." You say.
"How was I going to keep track when I was busy holding you?" Hanako asked.
"Maybe it was Y/n who was keeping track??" Kou asked.
"Don't you start blaming y/n!" Hanako said. You blushed.
"I think none of us were supposed to and we just assumed someone else was doing it." Yashiro explained.
"seems like something i'd do." you say.
"Well how are we going to get out now?!" Kou asked.
"Let's just look around. This place isn't that creepy..." You lied. Now that you were technically trapped, it was turning into a nightmare. "But let's not-"
"C'mon we'll cover more ground!" Hanako insisted. Everyone shook their heads. "It'll be fun." Everyone shook their heads. "I'm a ghost no one's going to get hurt." Everyone hesitated, but then shook their heads once more. " Okay how about we make tiny teams and THEN we can search around?"
"Uhm...alright I guess that's okay." You say. "We have our phones so we can just text each other!"
".....I don't know....." Yashiro said shakily.
"Don't worry, Senpai I'll protect you!" Kou said.
"let's do this!" Hanako cheered. "Kou with Yashiro and I'll go with Y/n!"
"So we'll go left you two go right." Yashiro sighed. "yeah we-let's do this."

"Y/n I've gotta be honest this is funny." Hanako hummed as he examined all the decorations. The house had huge rooms with ceilings like 45 feet up and the wood was molding and dark brown. This room looked like a restaurant with 10 tables with white tables and one weird bench. And of course it was covered with spider webs and normal Halloween decor. Pretty creepy stuff.
"It's freaky." You correct him.
"No it isn't. It's funny." Hanako said. "Look at this ghost." He pointed to an old fashioned ghost (like the mostly oval with the triangles at the end with two eyes and an o mouth) and floated over to it. "do I look anything like this ghost? Any resemblance?" You giggled. "People these days think ghosts are just ovals."
"well also you need to think that this decoration was obviously made by a kindergartener." You walked over to Hanako.
"They might as well be nice and just make a cat or something." he blew some of his choppy bangs out of his face.
"I bet when you were a kid you made these." You say.
"Mhm I didn't like Halloween that much."
"WHAT?!?" Halloween was your favorite holiday. It beat Christmas and your birthday. You took his hand and took him over a creepy looking bench where you put your candy. "You didn't like trick or treating with your friends?!?"
"I usually only went with Tsukasa since....I wasn't very social." Hanako sat down with me.
"what about the scary and funny decorations hanging everywhere?" You ask. "Like this creepy bench. It's so-" You were interrupted by a vibration that made you jump. "haha see-wait a minute-" The bench was vibrating. The screws that held it down to the ground started to unscrew themselves. "Sh*t Hanako what are you doing?!"
"I'm not doing anything! If you let me continue, I was about to say how the spirits are stronger during Halloween!!" Hanako said. He didn't get off the bench since you were too scared to.
"Wait this place is actually-..." You felt the crushing feeling that you only get on Halloween. This place. Was actually. Haunted. You tried to get off, but the bench scooped you back up. The screws were unscrewed completely. Then it shot up in the air along with all the other decorations. "AHHH HANAKO WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!" You still sat in the bench, but the bench was floating around.
"I SAID I DON'T KNOW!!" we heard another scream from the other room.
"I THINK KOU AND YASHIRO ARE IN TROUBLE!!!" You cried out. "GO CHECK ON THEM!!!"
"YOU SURE YOU'LL BE OKAY?!!?" Hanako was still worried about you. Adorable.
"NO BUT WE STILL NEED TO CHECK ON THEM AND CLEARLY ONE OF US CAN'T CHECK." the bench started to rotate. "JUST BE QUICK OKAY?!"
"ALRIGHT." He started to leave the room, but turned around for a moment and said, "I LOVE YOU!" then left.

20 minutes later, Hanako still hasn't returned and you couldn't jump off the stupid bench because if you did you'd probably hurt yourself. (plus it was the only thing you felt you could cling to). You wanted to jump to a table, but you were worried that you would fall and die. But you need to find Hanako and the gang. Decision time. You were a Chidi(from the good place. ive been watching a whole lot of that lol) when it came to decisions.
"Okay, Y/n, you can do this. The options are: Stay here or go find your friends. Now you-wait oh I'm so stupid." You pulled out your phone. You started to type password when your phone went black. Of course. Ghosts don't like technology. "Okay now we only have one choice: go find your friends."
You took a breath, and stood up on the bench. This was insane. Stupid. But it was the right thing to do. The closet table wasn't that far off. Like two or three feet. Still a jump that you'll have to run before you jump. You backed up, then ran. You jumped to the table, but the goddamn table moved away and your fingers slipped. And that was when you screamed louder than you ever had before. And we all know who's voice you called as you fell.
This was your first halloween with Yashiro, Kou, and Hanako. You were excited. You had picked out a toga cosplay (because why not?) and were in your room getting changed in front of this huge

"Hanako I'm getting dressed." You frowned. "Go away."
"I'll turn around." You rolled your eyes.

You turned around. He stared up at the full moon, his eyes wide. He was adorable and childish and his cat outfit suited him.

"Where do you wanna go?" You asked, pulling on a bra.
"well..." He flew over to you, his nose touching yours. "I'd go anywhere with you."
You backed up, knocking over the body sized mirror. You blushed. You were only wearing a bra and jeans, and he was a little too close for comfort.
"H-Hanako you're w-way too close." He backed only smidge away, still grinning.
"Where'd you go?" He moved back. You covered your bra. He pulled them away and held them. "Are you always this shy?"
"I-Hanako-"
"I've been waiting to ask you something, y/n." He looked away. Back at the moon.
"Uhm what is it?" You couldn't back up any more. Stupid walls.
"Do you....." he paused. "want to...."
"HANAKO!" Yashiro yelled from downstairs. "IS Y/N-CHAN DONE YETTTTTT?"
"YES!!!" You yell, quickly pulling on a shirt.
You open the door, but you're tugged back. You turn.
"Y/n...." Hanako was blushing. "After we trick or treat....can we talk?"
"I-I uhm sure!" You were ready to run again, but he didn't let go of your hand.
"good." He smiled. "You should finished getting dressed." He ran out.
You blushed, but shut the door.

You walked down stairs, everyone was already dressed up: Yashiro as Ochako (also from Mha because again why not) and Kou as a zombie.
"Now let's go scare some children!" Hanako cheered.
"Uhm I don't think we-"
"C'mon Y/n have Halloween Spirit!!"Hanako interrupted you.
"We shouldn't scare kids." Yashiro said.
"Yashiroooooo." Hanako whined.
"No." Hanako frowned. You put a hand on his shoulder, trying not to blush.
"C'mon Hanako, stop being a baby." You said.
He looked up at you, blushed, and looked over at the candy.
"Mhm let's just go trick or treat." He floated over and picked up his pumpkin bucket.
Yashiro and Kou gave you the 'uhm did I miss something???' look but you ignored them and picked up your bucket and said, "That's better."

Hanako POV
We had gone to only two neighbor hoods, and Y/n was already exhausted.
"C'mon Y/n," I tugged on her sleeve. "One more block. Pleaseeeee."
"Hanako I won't be walking anywhere but home..." Y/n said, sitting on the sidewalk with her arms crossed.
"Fine." I smiled, because I just got an idea. "you're right, y/n, you won't be walking."
"Hanako w-" before she could finish, I picked her up, and carried her piggy-back style.
"Ta-da!" I did a slow full turn, showing Yashiro and Kou. "I'll carry you!"
Y/n POV
You couldn't make yourself say anything. A minute ago, you were whining on the sidewalk, and next thing you know you were being carried by Hanako. You buried your face in Hanako's collarbone to hide your face, which had turned into a burning red.
"Hanako put Y/n down!" Yashiro said.
"Why? She said she was tired so now we can still trick or treat without her holding us back!" Hanako explains smartly.
"Seriously you have to stop picking up random girls." Kou added.
"I-it's fine..." You muttered. "Not like I hate it."
"See?" Hanako said. "Y/n's fine. Let's go trick or treat some more!"
The next house looked pretty festive. It took you a minute to realize what it was.
"Guys it's a haunted house!"
"Let's go in!" Hanako said.
"I don't know....I have kinda a traumatic experience with Haunted houses." Yashiro rubbed her arm.
"Kid?" hanako gestured to Kou.
"Hm? Oh sure I'll go I guess."
"I HAVE AN IDEA!!!" Hanako shouted. "You carry Yashiro on YOU'RE back so she won't freak out!"
"Hanako I don't think that's a great idea..." You say.
"It's an amazing idea." He replies.
"I'm not going to hold Senpai." Kou added quickly. "Not like I have anything against you but I-"
"Here we'll hold hands okay Hanako?" Yashiro said.
"Alright then, let's go in this haunted house!"
And thus you marched into the haunted house, unprepared for what awaited you.
