Hold up. A majority? Really? A majority of Sungmin's fans (or Super Junior's for that matter) are Korean and Chinese, and nope, they weren't in the least bit happy for him. It might have trended on Twitter, but that doesn't mean a majority of us (and by that I mean ALL fans, not just the international ELFs) were happy about his decision.
Yes, he's an adult; he can do whatever he likes. I have no problems with the members getting married, but I think it's fucked up that Super Junior had to cut their promos short because of him.
Think of Leeteuk and Heechul, who had been waiting for two years to stand on stage again. Think of the members who had to put up with hate comments just because they couldn't talk him out of it. Think of the fans, who spent their money and time to see him, only for him to give fan gifts to his then-girlfriend and write her nickname when he's giving them autographs. (If Heechul or Kyungsoo did that to me, I would probably throw the CD or poster at his face, pick it up from the ground and burn it in front of him. Or I would just cry and scream, "You ungrateful fucktard. I hope you burn in Hell.")
As a Super Junior fan, all I want him to do now is to enlist in the army. Maybe after two years, I will laugh about it and think, "Yeah, he should have gotten married in 2010, when they were at the peak of their popularity."
