My beautiful daughter Shin has crossed the rainbow bridge. She was the smartest, most affectionate, most sensitive girl in the world. She was 12 years old, and I've known her for 10.

I will never be completely okay again. Because this is not okay. This couldn't have happened, but somehow it did. I still can't believe it. I have no words to express how gutted I feel.

Shin, I will cherish every second I had with you forever. Thanks for being there for us and with us. You taught us a lot, and keep teaching even when you're gone. There's nothing in this world that I wouldn't trade for more time with you. I hope we were able to make you feel that you are important and loved. We tried our best.

Wait for us and don't be scared. We'll be together again one day

I will probably be giving a little break from posting because of a wildfire near where I live. We had to evacuate, thankfully no damage to us, but we can't be happy about it after experiencing the despair wildfires bring to every living thing around them.

My dear friend D, who left the earth on her own terms is in this photo. She had just became a lawyer. It was her life goal and she worked so hard for that all her life. Her smile was contagious, and her calming, quiet energy is irreplaceable.
