"Can I help you?" The raven-haired mage asked from the otherside of the counter, their forest green eyes trained on the guest who had wandered into his shop. A black ball of fur laid curled up on a pillow atop the counter. It did not move at the presence of a stranger, but one triangular ear remained at attention.

"What are you drinking?" The unfamiliar man would ask, after taking a seat in the stool at the bar. Yet as he asked it, he didn't make eye contact. However, it was apparent by only being the two of them, that the raven-haired male was talking to you. "I'll buy it."

"You wouldn't happen to be in the market for a mage-for-hire?" The man asked off handedly. By all accounts he looked serious, as he didn't crack a smile. Maybe it was a strange thing to ask strangers trying to enjoy a drink at the end of a day, but Hamish was more than a little desperate.

Hamish opened forest-green eyes to peer down into the dark liquid of his drink.
