SECTION ONE - about
Hiro, for the most part, is a pretty chill guy. He enjoys kite building, gummy bears, and his Aunt Cass' famous hot wings. And of course, robots. The guy likes to think that robotics was just his main coping method after losing both of his parents at a young age, and then years later, losing his older brother Tadashi, too.
While he is mainly preoccupied with solving the truth behind Tadashi's death, Hiro is also a little bit interested in how exactly he can leave Evermore in order to bring justice to his brother's name, if it ever comes to that. Again, robotics plays a huge part in both of those - somehow.
SECTION TWO - headcanons
I feel very strongly that Hiro is now a Cat Dad to Mochi. Like, Mochi was just there ( in a cat backpack ) when he crossed over to Evermore and now they're both stuck. Mochi keeps him grounded, but also Mochi gets visibly annoyed and concerned when Hiro grumbles in front of his corkboard and red string, muttering about the 'truth'.
He does have a sweet tooth! However, he keeps this very close to his chest. Mostly because he's embarrassed for some reason. Hiro insists that it keeps him focused when working on his projects. Gummy bears are his favorite.
Personality-wise, Hiro likes to focus on his projects when they're actually conceptualized. Otherwise, he spends a huge amount of time trying to be inspired. How he goes about this varies on the day and his current mood. Sometimes he'll take a walk outside, sometimes he'll do tons of research, and sometimes he'll just watch people do their thing and hopefully a lightbulb goes off and he's inspired.
Hiro tends to get competitive, though he keeps it playful and not too serious. However, because of his past with bot fighting, Hiro consciously tries not to get back into anything relating to that. Brings back too many memories regarding Tadashi.
Growing up, Hiro haven't had much exposure to romance. Both Aunt Cass and Tadashi always seemed to favor work and responsibility over any semblance of a dating life that Hiro learned to do the same. He'd take hangouts over dates; keeping people at an arms length over full-on romancing anyone. He's curious, but cautious about opening up.
