Zane squinted at the comics on the shelves, down on his hunkers trying to make out the titles. He had gotten so overwhelmed when he first entered the store that it took him ten minutes to remember what he came in for. Standing upright again he sighed before making his way the counter, having mentally prepared his speech. “Um hey-- sorry, do you have anything on like supernatural stuff-- like ghosts and zombies?” he asked. “I hope that doesn’t sound as weird to you as it does to me.”

Shona grinned as she spotted her fair-hair nemesis in the distance, not mason, not this year-- but another self proclaimed hero who stuck his nose into her business and she did not forget it. Skipping across the grass with a childs egg basket in her hand she made her way to Fred, sporting an angelic smile, for now. "Hello Freddy" she mused passing by him. "Aw, you waiting around for the easter bunny? Think 'ya just missed him."

while it wasn't the most exciting of adventures, hiro knew he could count on fred for pretty much anything. as he rolled around the cart, hiro passed him a short list of things he needed to stock up on for his workshop. a list of basic tools and materials -- screws, nuts, bolts, some sheets of vinyl, and maybe some wood and sheet metal. hiro didn't really have much on his mind projects-wise; grief does that to you. all the past innovations and passed up ideas did nothing to console him - whether about his brother or about evermore.

the young woman quickly ended the conversation she had been having as soon as she reached her destination after minutes of walking. the almost - cheery ' bye! ' that brynn had given the other was nothing if not authentic - she was finally back at the one place that she wished she could be herself .. but couldn't.

if she was still a child, brynn wouldn't mind being more open about her love for comic books. but she was older now. wiser, more sophisticated, and more mature. she felt very strongly that this just didn't line up with the vision she had for her public image. so as one does, she dons a dark hoodie & wears plain sunglasses and opens the door to the establishment.
