Metaphorical Observation

Not all disabilities are visible, not everyone in a wheelchair is unable to walk short distances, it is presumptuous to comment on the “assumed” health of a stranger you see in public for any reason. Neurological, Cardiac, Genetic, Autoimmune and Pulmonary Disorders may all cause patients to have difficulty walking. Medical treatments, such as chemotherapy can cause severe weakness, which may require a patient to use assistive devices or a handicap placard.
