the iwaoi loyalists are so strong. like i think the reason i don’t read them is because i can’t think about them without my heart aching. like. it’s canon that they’ve been friends since forever. oikawa sent his last set in his last high school game to iwa because of course he would. oikawa then LEAVES JAPAN to play in argentina and GIVES UP HIS CITIZENSHIP to spend the rest of his career there. they are truly the most tragic and angsty pair to me. maybe even the angstiest ship ever (to me). they make my heart hurt so bad. so much missed time but so much love.
