Welcome to the information center, of my characters, based on your world. In this AU I shift things around q u i t e a b i t, so I hope it's interesting?
It is the world my mind lives in. I have made an extremely sillier thing from silly [AWESOME] thing. And with me, I keep motivation by impulsively writing the most outlandish, crazy ideas I can think of. Logic is rather shaky. Especially because I write mostly just to log my own insane daydreams down, as they like to repeat, until I can read something clear and it plays smoother. It always happens. It's why I have so much fanfiction, lol.
-Move something based on your world past even modern time and a many, MANY years into the future, that's where this lives. Now there's a bunch of crazy technology thrown into the mix! [Cars, planes, phones, guns, all with enchantments, etc.. as well as hologram stuff! SCIENCE!! AND MAYBE THEY HAVE THOUGHT TO TEXT NOW! *JUMPS IN*]
-What I did to Heaven though would most likely cause Philander to have a heart-attack and die. I changed the orbs tradition, to assign specific tasks to individuals [for my own purposes]. I had to make some other angels similar to Alexis, enough to spark a rebellion and revolutionary ideas. So I ignited a civil war in Heaven and sent them into bad drought, and then there was massive fire that destroyed most of the city, and many angels died so they stopped fighting and yelling at each other to recover, which took forever, and now it's currently just a mixed moraled mess there, rather divided still. [Imagine my surprise when there was that canon fire in Heaven, it seems fire is a very good catalyst to chaos! Another coincidence with an event in your story and me? Coincidences aren't real uncommon in my general vicinity. But your fire, I hardly ever predict things right, I love your surprises! But regarding my fire, anyone who died is alright. They're fine. Casualty count “0” in my stories as well…]
Me, adding a drought+fire in this AU=
[Also, my circumstances while writing this was being in US History class studying the Revolutionary & Civil War. Where I am often will influence my writing and also where I read. :) ]
-I included every kind of your wing colors + a few very extravagant choices of wings I threw in. I need these bright colors for this thing~
-And personalized magic capabilities, they find some new kinds of magic!
And I absolutely do not go on about my characters, your world, and mine to my friends, no, that would be very insane.. *p r o c e e d s t o r a m b l e f o r a v e r y l o n g t i m e*
I have a unique choice in names?
[And I apologize for if some of these are a bit brief, my mind thinks I wrote so much more]
[“Phoenix” Johnathan Renix] (The names in parenthesis are his troops form of military call signs)
Description: Wears a blue baseball cap and fire like scarf casually, blue eyes and short brown hair, tall and very strong.
Occupation: UN Peacekeeper [General of his troop, which have a specific purpose I crafted]
Hobbies: Finance, guiding others, being a dad.
Background: Rescued and adopted by an angel who took him in from the ruins of a wartorn town as a very young child. Renix is now a very wealthy man that is the leader of his small troop. He will take in young soldiers [sometimes out of poverty] and take them in, giving them a home and a purpose. All of them get their own rooms as well, it's a very large, expensive place, and all members have become as close as family. His troop's primary goal is to help rehabilitate wartorn towns, aid people, maintain peace, and fight for other's safety.
[Faziel “Thunderbyrd” Cassander]
Description: Wears a fancy white scarf casually, has emerald eyes, red hair, and wings of the primary colors. [See drawing]
Occupation: Soldier; UN Peacekeeper
Hobbies: Magic, swordsmanship, and studying history (as not to repeat it).
Background: Raised in isolation in Heaven, and trained for crusader morals by his family, who are very traditional. His story is the most complete in my mind, so i'll explain his songs.
Waving Through a Window- Faziel is very curious, he'd like to hear the views he's not allowed to believe in. So he listens closely, hoping for answers to his doubts in his family, as he wants to choose his own path one day.
Believer- Despite wanting to choose his own path strongly, but he is conflicted on whether or not it is a right one. His struggles seem to strengthen his hopes and beliefs, building his surety.
High Hopes- This song has two things going on, what his mother has told him and what he's learned from his family, but he would actually be singing about his vision for something better here. He tricks his parents to thinking he wants their path by disguising his words in a similar way, but he has his own high hopes for his future. They really can't know the extent of that.
Finally Free- This song is about the freedom he receives when he joins the troop. Shade guides him in this new world to him.
Here's a related scene description:
[When Faziel gets to earth, he first meets Renix, who dragged him out of the snow while he was still asleep, keeping him warm near a small fire. When he sees Shade, he does freak out, because not because he's afraid of him, it was mostly for what was said, “And I lit the fire." The fire that was keeping him warm from frostbite.
After having lept away about seven feet, he begins to process that he really did have something to hope in after all, if a bit skeptical. It is still much too cold out, but they give him an electric blanket and time alone to decide if he wants to take up on the offer to join the troop, and be a peacekeeper like he was chosen to. The next morning he accepts the offer and gets a new home and room, which he locks himself in for a while. Questioning everything. Shade begins to talk to him more, if through the vents, answering all the questions he has. This is how their friendship starts and develops for them to be as close as brothers eventually. ^^]
Am I Wrong- He knows the path he has chosen is good, and much more fulfilling for his life. He cannot be told it's wrong.
Peace and Love- This is what they've shown him, and this is what he's always wanted. <3
[Shade “Mockingjay” Apollo]
Description: Wears a long jacket, red eyes and brown hair, has blackish-gray, fuzzy wings with fur, tufted wolf like ears, and a long fluffy tail. [See drawing]
Occupation: Soldier; UN Peacekeeper
Hobbies: Song writing & singing, magic, making bad puns, and being an adorable dork.
Background: Shade was raised along with the original troop that began to take people and soldiers in as family. His father was the creator of this troop's personal structure, and they had a big home different than the current one. While his parents and the others were out on a mission when he was home when there was a large scale earthquake that destroyed his city, and he flew off to try and get to safety. He gets lost far from the wreckage and gets lost and exhausted, and is hit hard by rocks. A certain way, and this can cause amnesia. He cannot remember much when he wakes up, but at least some people are kind enough to help him because he's injured. Now these people travel a lot by foot and are homeless, and since Shade has no where else to turn, he goes with them. His parents are unable to find him, and it is only many, many years later until Renix comes across him, and takes into consideration the vast kindness and positivity he shows to others, even when his circumstances are bad. When Shade accepts the offer to be trained to be a peacekeeper, the others let him go, to have a proper home. [And Renix often gives this group money and advice, but they seem happy where they are. Just happy for the support.] He gets to the house and the last person of the original troop, Rain, recognizes him, in complete shock. He made it back home after all.
[My internal conflicted moral state: *sCREECHES LOUDLY*
Writer state: Hello. This thing keeps abandoning me so I like to break it. *points to screeching thing* Feel free to join in again at any time. ]
[Azai “Sparrow” Kincaide]
Description: He wears a bomber jacket embroidered in runes on the edges and cuffs, has black curly hair, amber-brown eyes, and light brown, slender and strong wings with a tinge of orange in them. [I have no drawing rip.]
Occupation: Soldier; UN Peacekeeper [former crusader]
Hobbies: Training [swordfighting], attempting to be leader, questioning Faziel & Shade's antics, and *whispers* sewing.
Background: Azai is the opposite spectrum to Faziel's story. Perhaps the best soldier under [Faziel's father] Tauno's command, willing to follow him on earth when he's chosen, and especially because he is Tauno's nephew and the better argument he hears is from his uncle.
This upsets his own father quite a bit, but what his son chooses is not his decision. Azai though, is given a peacekeeping task by this stupid defective orb [close how he would describe it.] He proceeds with his original plan, and it turns out thinking about it and actually killing people weighs heavier on his conscious than he believed it would, it does not feel right at all. He does not know how to turn back or repay for it all, and in this misery, Renix comes once again to lift someone up and offer a chance. He truly does find that peacekeeping was meant for him in the first place, he grows to love his job, and becomes strong in their values. His father, Keiran, would be proud of his change of heart.
Age: Probably 400+ [I estimate Einar is this old, might be wrong, but for certain, he's an old man. I mean look at him. The man is losing his feathers!]
Description: Wears old fashioned robes usually, has short, dark auburn hair, very dark green eyes, and strong dark blue wings. [I have a bad silhouette drawing]
Occupation: New Garrison general [aspires to be an oldschool crusader].
Hobbies: Training, barking orders, glaring at others with disdain, and not knowing how to be a father.
Background: Having relatives that died in that fire, he is sworn to make his grandparents proud and uphold their family values. Tauno is a natural at fighting and extremely skilled with magic like his mother [Liora, see tags]. He upholds a tense rivalry with Keiran, they fight constantly, criticizing each other's reasons to command, and Keiran especially calls Tauno out for never letting Faziel attend the garrison because it's “mix-moraled” when he is a general himself there. Tauno feels overprotective and is extremely strict, thinking that his son can easily become tainted if he doesn't train him himself. And when Faziel is stubborn, he becomes very harsh and will often verbally lash out at him, in a much too manipulative and criticizing way. If he gets hurt by it, he gets very frustrated. He does not know how to connect with his son like he was with his own father, and neither can understand why his son wants to be trusted and gives him no reason to. Usually the only one who can calm them both down a bit after they infuriate each other, is Oriana. [Tauno's wife, Faziel's mother]
If Tauno gets his way to earth, he would likely be as cold as Einar, and as determined as Philander.
Description: Wears a silky blue-gradient cloak, has long, braided blonde hair, blue eyes, and light gray wings.
Occupation: General; UN Peacekeeper [second in command, she gives Renix full command]
Hobbies: Reading, illustrating, and watching over all the children Renix adopts.
Background: She was best friend to Shade's mother, and first to be invited to live in their big house able to provide for many people, while some of the rest of the troop on their own, decline the offer to start a tradition like this one because they have their own homes. Some do accept, the people that are less financially stable, and this idea of a moral code and more traditions like their form of callsigns start. Many years later, Rain comes across a town that had been destroyed by a war and finds very young child in the ruins, tired and afraid. She takes him in her wings and raises him, not exactly intending for him to want to be a soldier and peacekeeper, but he follows her example, and becomes a great leader. She's proud of her son.
