I feel like this is because of how he was before the chip — also slightly untrustworthy but not really malicious (unlike multi), having good relations with everyone and yk a friend to all is a friend to none yadda yadda, and this is why this arc has been going on for so long

qAsh broke into the reactor and managed to get through qMulti's skin. qMulti attempted to get his DNA, but qAsh exploded the machinery... However qMulti still managed to get something.
