And I gave them a dog. Mainly cuz I imagine Mischa riding on its back like a horse (and then calling it Hannah *cuz in the book Clarice saves a horse she named hannah instead of a lamb*). It’s also a Belgian Sheepdog. SHEEP DOG. *v*

But I’m hoping that there is still a point to this life, even for us. It’s a long shot, I’ll admit. By all accounts, we’re damned regardless. But I hope, maybe foolishly, that we’ll get some measure of credit for trying.

To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of how they changed Caius and Marcus’s ages in the films. It just didn’t feel necessary. That said, the actor who played Marcus did such a great job capturing that quiet, eternal sadness. I’m not sure if I conveyed those feelings well myself, but I gave it a try.
