hey have you ever wondered why the cast of Kitarou 1985 made a pop cd????? yeah me either I just accept it

  Weeell, whether you can’t wait for the reboot in April, you just want to watch some of the old series, or if you’re new and curious…the only way to watch the old stuff is torrenting them. That is, if you don’t mind raws. Besides what’s commonly uploaded on streaming sites, there really aren’t any fansubs out for anything but Hakaba Kitaro (and Nippon Golden Network’s translation of the 1985 anime), so you won’t find anything no matter how much you look.  If you’ve run out of episodes to watch from The Skaro Hunting Society, I’m afraid I cannot help you. Someone on youtube uploaded all the gyuki scenes from the previous GGGNK shows. The shot is too quick to make a decent gif, but… the face 70s Ratman makes when he sees Kitaro come out of the volcano is too cute.

There is literally no excuse as to why you, your friends, and your family are not watching Gegege no Kitarou. (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, + Hakaba)

I’ve been posting mostly on twitter, but I started (really) watching/reading the various Gegege no Kitaro/Hakaba Kitaro series’. Pretty fantastic, I recommend ‘em
