GUIDELINES 

General Guidelines for participating in Half Man Week:

tldr; Do whatever you'd like! You can use the prompts or not! It's entirely up to you!

When posting, use the tag #HalfManWeek. No spaces!

You do not need to adhere strictly to any of the given prompts. 

You can mix and match prompts. 

You can do your own thing and ignore the prompts entirely, your work will still be reblogged and added to the Masterpost.

You can post any prompt fill on any day.

Anything goes! Remember if you don’t like it, don’t read it - so tag accordingly!

If you’d like to link your AO3 story/art/etc., make a tumblr post and tag it #HalfManWeek. This applies to any other off-site work (such as youtube or twitter).

You can add your work to the AO3 Collection, each collection for each event can be found on the Welcome Page (more info on how to add your post to a collection can be found here). 

Please do not add your work to a collection before the event starts in order to keep with the spirit of the week!

I will reblog posts in the #HalfManWeek tag to this blog. If you don’t see your post being reblogged by the end of the day, please let me know! Either by sending an ask or a DM.

How can I participate?

By creating and posting:

fanart, fanfic, fanvideos, fanmixes, meta, gifs, edits, moodboards, etc.

As well as

commenting, reblogging, leaving feedback and support for creators! 

Can I post NSFW fic/art/etc.?

Yes, NSFW pieces are allowed. We’ll be using our best judgment and the honor system here.

Is there a minimum/maximum word count for fic?

Nope! Your story can be as short or as long as you’d like.

Do I have to make something for each day to participate?

Nope! You can post one work in the whole week or you can post multiple works for each day of the event. It’s entirely up to you.

Can I post a WIP multi-chapter fic?

Yes! Your fic does not have to be finished in order to post.

When can I post?

As soon as the scheduled week starts! 

Can I post after the deadline?

I will not be reblogging posts long after the deadline, but you can post to the AO3 collection within a few days after the deadline.
