my mother was just hospitalized for a week, it started as a psych emergency

they found that her heart is failing and her lungs were filling with liquid and shutting down. she is now on O2 at home, for how long we don't know

she has tons of specialist appointments. with no insurance

there is also something else extremely important that we need financial help to make it through

we are pursuing a medical neglect/malpractice lawsuit against a previous, for-profit institution she was hospitalized at multiple times

said institution has a long track record of lawsuits involving malpractice, neglect, wrongful death, etc.

the neglect was bad enough, & had she gone there again she would have been another one of their wrongful deaths

surviving american healthcare and legal system is already difficult enough. we can barely keep a roof over our heads & i just quit my job, since i was gonna end up losing it to disabling health issues anyways. anything helps
