“There are a few of those out there. Which one did you have in mind?” 

“They don’t want to risk embarrassing themselves.”

“The fact that they can’t hold their alcohol is a bit embarrassing, honestly.”

“Respectably straightforward and surprisingly easy. Done.”

“I can’t believe the biddies didn’t jump at the chance to drink while they judge everyone’s dresses.” 

“Hope I didn’t keep you waiting too long.” 

“I’ll start with Thanksgiving. I had fun, but you would have made it much more bearable towards the end. I think Andrea Wood, uh Andi? I think she had her boyfriend in her brother’s bed. There was some yelling, a washboard, and girls hitting themselves in the head with American footballs.”

“You didn’t miss much, now that I think of it.”

“Didn’t miss much. Was the food any good? I can’t imagine my brother and his best mate cooking anything, much less an entire Thanksgiving meal. Especially if throwing a football and yelling was another option.” 

“This isn’t about bribery, Aiden. It’s about finding Healers who know what they’re doing.”

“I’m sure the entire Malfoy family would appreciate your personal concern for Astoria’s health.” 

“Didn’t you hear they’re serving bottomless butterbeer at Three Broomsticks today? That and you, how could I not? You look beautiful.”

“It’s good to know that a taste for butterbeer doesn’t suddenly dry up as soon as you graduate. Thanks. I missed you. How is being an adult? Tell me everything. All the things you can’t tell me in a letter, anyway.” 

“What about garlic?”

“Sure, some. Kind of overpowering like onion though. I don’t know garlic breath is much better, except that it keeps vampires from trying to kiss you.”
