Thankful for my friend Marcella! So the past couple of days, I haven't been able to eat food because I ran out of money and I didn't have food in my house! All of the dining halls were closed because of spring break! So I went 2 full days without eating! In that time, I learned to be thankful and to be appreciative of the things we have in life. I also got lightheaded a lot because I didn't have anything to eat. I could've asked my family for some money but I had already used the money they gave me on food for every meal. I didn't want to ask for more money when my family don't have much in the first place. I had too much pride to ask for help. I never want to ask for help. But tonight, I was talking to my friend Marcella and I told her my situation. She offered to buy me food. At first, I didn't want to because I knew I can just wait till tomorrow morning to eat. But then I just couldn't take it anymore and I decided to take her up on her offer. I'm so thankful for friends who help during hard times. So long story short, don't let pride get in the way of asking for help. Love you Marcella! #day272
