song to listen to: The Girl from Ipanema , Frank Sinatra
"Tall and tan and yada yada the girl from ipanema goes walkin.."
You murmured, swaying your hips as you danced around the kitchen, the smell of roasting vegetables and beef on the pan swirling around your little house. You brushed some breadcrumbs off your yellow apron, singing along to the song playing on the speaker, or well, trying to because who really knows all the lyrics to a frank sinatra song?
You barely noticed the jingle of keys and the door opening, as your husband Kotaro stepped through the door, excitedly humming as he placed his bag down and heard the music playing. He peeked into the kitchen, seeing you sway and hum as the smell of your cooking made his mouth water. He creeped up behind you with a smile, placing his hands on your hips and his head atop yours as you jumped.
"Ko! Don't scare me like that!" You cried, smiling as your husband laughed, grinning.
"Sorry babyyyy, you were just singing so pretty I didn't wanna bother youu!" he drawled, and you laughed, pinching his cheek as he made a noise of surprise. You turned back to your cooking as he wrapped his arms around your waist, humming as his chin was on your shoulder and you both sang.
"Yada yada yada da da da da, the girl from ipanema goes walkinnn" Kotaro sang, as he twirled you around and took your hands, rocking back and forth with a goofy smile as you giggled, resting your cheek on his chest.
"And when she smiles, I smile, but she doesn't see~ she doesn't see me.." He says, as your hands rest around his waist and he takes your chin, tipping it up to his face as he captures your lips in a sweet romantic kiss. You can taste the peach chapstick you bought him and smile, as you both break apart and he smiles, pressing his forehead against yours and giving eskimo kisses, rubbing your noses together.
"Turn off the stove and come lay down with me, we can have dinner later I promise!" He says, and you nod, rolling your eyes and smiling as he jumps up happily, running over to the couch as you turn off the stove and oven, taking off your apron as well.
Soon, you two are entangled together, you resting atop his chest as you listen to the rythmic beat of his heart. He runs his hands up and down your back, rubbing circles in your shoulderblades.
"Hey honey?" He asks, and you look up at him, mumbling a 'mhmm?' as you close your eyes and nuzzle your cheek against his chest.
"What if we had kids?" He asks, and you move your head up, looking at him. His cheeks are red and his eyes are looking anywhere but at you. You smile softly, reaching out and rubbing his cheek with your thumb, cupping it with your hand.
"I think, Mr. Bokuto, it would be lovely to have some kids." You purr, the thought filling your head of little copies of you two running around, threading between your husbands strong legs before he picks them up, holding a baby in your arms and kissing its soft skin. Watching them grow and accomplish things and have families of their own. The idea of having a family with Kotaro, it makes you smile.
"Well then, Mrs. Bokuto, how about we try?" he asks, looking into your eyes, you look right back and smile, nodding your head as you hug him.
"That would be lovely." You whisper, snuggling into his warm embrace.
