Google has added the ability to actually change your Gmail address on your Google account. So if you are someone who made a really cringy email address ages ago and still use it, you finally can tell people your email without having to endure their merciless laughter. It basically creates a new "alternate" email, where both your old and new accounts are still tied to the account, but the new one will be the default. You can still even send and receive from both emails. So you don't lose the old email.
