People are so quick to jump to Jon and Dany as obvious and for all intents and purposes it does seem like they would be “obvi”, but since when does D&D and specifically and more importantly GRRM do the obvious?

Oh, but there are so many parallels to how she is fire and he is ice and blah blah blah… So obviously ice and fire HAVE to get together? Um, no. They don’t. What if the parallels are not leading to a romantic outcome but two family members coming together in the end? Dany has no family to speak of on the show BUT Jon at this point. Why can’t they just be an aunt and nephew who have each other’s backs? Why does it automatically HAVE to be a romantic union? Because I’m sorry, the big hero nad the big heroine getting together? YAWN. 

And then I wonder - why do people keep forgetting about Tyrion? And Jorah? It was rather obvious to me that in the last episode Tyrion had feelings for Dany. Why toss that out there if it means nothing considering he IS one of the major players?

Why have all those shots of Jon and Sansa looking all coupley? Why have them look like Ned and Cat? Why have them practically flirting during their first conversation EVER on the show? All these breadcrumbs are going to lead to some lame betrayal plot by Sansa and LF and pave the way for Jon and Dany? 

Jon and Dany would be boring AF and I don’t give a flying fuck how pretty Emilia and Kit are together. Hey, you know who else looks pretty together? Kit and Sophie. 

Frankly, I hope Dany bites it. I used to like her, but man, I am so sick of shit always working out for her. She’s got an air of entitlement about her that I can do without. And hey, isn’t that the sort of thing that Jon hates? Wasn’t that part of the division he and Sansa experienced as kids? But now look how he fought for Winterfell for her. How she called him a Stark. How she looked so happy when he was named King in the North. How it was during that very episode we got confirmation about how they are cousins. Well then. Isn’t that just convenient?
