And yes, many, many, calamities have risen and this new "source dragons" mumbo jumbo is something I've heard. Personally, i haven't seen any dragons of the sort but it seems they're a big deal.

But as for your question, yes, the merge has happened and the damage is... irreparable. Nothing looks the same yet it feels so very ..nostalgic, in a way.
And i don't know if this'll aid in your search, but seeing as the one you're looking or is, well, me, I'd recommend searching the region where the castle grounds previously were in your post-merge world. I personally feel a connection still but cannot say for certain if she will too.
