last book: cultish by amanda montell. pretty good, tbh there were some things i wish she had gone more in depth on? and the humor didnt really land with me. but i also read it right after dark archives by megan rosenbloom which was another non fiction book for a popular audience that imo was done much better, so im probably just picky.

last song: eatin big time by tyler childers. lmao. ive been on a folk/country (more folk than country, tyler childers is an exception lol) kick recently

last movie: the long walk again........

last series: had to think about this one, i dont watch a lot of tv. i watched like half of heated rivalry? thats probably the most recent

Last book: I just finished Lessons in Chemistry this morning and I've got to be honest I didn't enjoy it as much as most people did BUT I'm about to start a book called When The Moon Hits Your Eye which is about the moon turning into cheese :D

Last song: as I type this the Smiths cover of 'I know it's over' is playing in my headphones, but it's worth noting that I've had the Stylistics 'You're a big girl now' and 'earrings' by Malcom Todd on loop recently

Last movie: I just had to watch Five Centimeters Per Second and Battleship Potemkin for classes, in terms of movies I've watched of my own volition it was also The Long Walk

Last series: I don't watch tv shows often but last night my friends showed me the first episode of Jujitsu Kaizen (is that how you spell it????) which was interesting

Sweet/salty: I'm a savory guy until I die

Coffee/tea: I LOVE a good cup of black tea in the morning my schools dining hall gets in a local variety that has orange peel inclusions and it's so lovely

Working on: swapping back and forth between poetry submissions and the next chapter of Who'd Want To Be Human Anyway? It's coming I swear it's just taking a while

Last book: Less than a hundred pages until I'm finished so it's The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang for me. Hyped up for a very good reason-the book is so good and written well, definitely captures the horrors of war and specfic challenges the main character, Rin, has to go through. I've got 2/3 of it done in a few days, and there's so much plot going on and excellent world building occurintThis has been on my reading list for ages. My one and only critism is that the important relationships Rin has with other characters that get to develop throughout the book is just with men-which is a small irritation and can be ignored, but I haven't read the other two books yet so here's to hoping that changes!!

Last song: Thatorchia by Ethel Cain (to no one's surprise). Haunting instrumentals I can listen to on any day. Perverts you're the only album ever.

Last movie: Sing Sing. I don't care this movie should have won five million awards when it first came out. I initially didn't want to watch it because it was prison-based movie and those can be triggering for me, but I absolutely adored it. Beautifully representation regarding those imprisoned and how art/theater can be healing. Colman Domingo deserves all his flowers as the lead for this movie, and the entire cast too they killed it.

Last series: The Industry. Trying to catch up quickly as the new season's airing. Unfortunately I'm still on season two :(

Coffee/Tea: As much as I like tea, coffee has been a addiction for the past couple of years. Coffee all day, every day. I will be irritated if I don't have coffee in the morning, its essential to my being.

Sweet/Savory: SWEET ALL DAY!!!!

Working On: Struggling on writing my gavribbins roadtrip fic, Infinity, Itinerary. But it's picking up and going!! Stebbins' pov is first and has been an absolute bitch to write. He's so uncooperative with adressing his feelings.

last book: My last completed book was The Long Walk!! I reread it again about a week or two ago. I’m currently trying to make my way through American Psycho right now though and so far i like it. I’m a fan of the movie and I find the differences and the more ambiguous parts of the story compared to its film very interesting.

last song: All I’ve Ever Known from Hadestown!! it’s off a playlist that was made for me and i’m also a big hadestown fan.

last movie: i want to say funny games (2007)? i haven’t had a lot of time for movies later but that’s the last one i remember sitting down and watching. Funny Games (1997) is my letterboxd top 4 and it was my first time having seen the English version.

Last series: Breaking Bad. Walter White you are an evil evil evil evil freak and you will pay. I finished the season 4 finale last night and i plan on starting season 5 tonight. walter white you will PAY.

Coffee/Tea: This changes almost weekly but this time i’ve been having really good coffee this week!!

Sweet/Savory: Sweet definitely

Working On: The Pearson fic i’ve been talking about since like. september of last year. i lost steam for it until like december 25th when the screenplay dropped and then the pearson brainworms took over like that’s My Guy™️. he was already really really really close to my heart from the book and what we got in the movie but the screenplay started an entirely renewed enthusiasm so. Currently Unnamed Pearson fic is what i’m thinking about like 75% of the time and it is currently the longest fic i’ve ever written and im not even close to done. every day i have to restrain myself from posting my favorite part of it but. i must wait 🫩

Last book: I'm currently in the middle of another tlw re read xd taking my time with this one, because I'm not too eager to see all of those characters die again ( and because I feel the need to overanalyse this book even more than I already do, lol)

But before that, I actually read the eyes of the dragon, also by Stephen King. I can recommend this one too- I, at least, liked it a lot^^

( honorable mention- before t h a t one, I read Alice in Wonderland, some time at the beginning of December. It was a tad bit confusing at times, but it was geuinely s u c h a fun read to me <3 )

Last song: Lowkey love that I'm currently writing this while I'm actually listening to music 😭 the last song/ most recent song from my playlist was Purple Rain by Prince :)

Last movie: Oof, good question ^^' I think it might've been either another tlw rewatch, or Avatar 3, in the cinema- I'm not too sure which one was more recent atm </3

Last series: Huhh. Gonna be honest, I don't even know 🫠 college won't let me have too much free time for this atm, sadly. I wanted to do a TUA rewatch some time ago, but I didn't get to do it yet

Coffee/ Tea: Coffee all the way <3 Don't get me wrong though, I like tea a lot too, especially during winter, but. I feel like I don't really drink it that often, for some reason

Sweet/ Savory: I guess it always depends on my mood a bit? I d o have a pretty big sweet tooth, so I guess I gave a bit of a tendency towards sweet ^^ although I usually prefer to have something savory for lunch and/or dinner

Working on: Several wips, I fear </3 most recent one is that one Raybins fic, that I've been working on for literal m o n t h s by now, because my writer's block and my own perfectionism were s t r o n g for a while 🫠

And also. This thing has already become much longer than I originally planned, and I'm still not fully through </3 I hope to finally finish it during the next few days though.

Said fic is also one of the reasons for why I've suddenly become so silent on here- I actually have quite a lot of stuff/ yapping session/ etc in my drafts on here, but I'd also. Really like to finish/ focus on the wip first, before I get to those xd
