the scene in kyklopeia where odysseus is sharpening his weapon, which is made of an olive branch ἐλάινον, with the olive tree being the holy tree of athena, the goddess of wisdom, and then going to athena’s orphic hymn where it says νάπαισί τε σὴν φρένα τέρπεις with the deep chasms your mind you delight, and combining these with the fact that if you look at the brain of a smart, quick and in general healthy person, it has sharp, acute chasms, while the brain of someone with, for example, alzheimer it has non-sharp, obtuse chasms.

im reading a very interesting passage by porphyrius on divine statues and he talks about their attire. he basically says that statues that are naked act in the noetic and uranian fields, while statues that are covered up mean that the god is acting down here. if they have parts of their bodies uncovered, they act in both fields.
