I've always thought a Pokémon journey could fix Merrin Meredith, and so I wrote an entire fic about it. Think about it: he had Darke powers, used to collect bugs, and rode a Darke dragon, all of which are Pokémon types! It would also give him two things he's never had before: friends and respect. Also, I thought Corbeau would be a good mentor for him. Merrin's my favorite character of all time, so this was a blast to write.
