          sulli flinched away from the other once again as she sniffled, shaking slightly. she had always been sensitive to yelling. “then what do i deserve zero? he doesn’t deserve me, you don’t deserve me , so who deserves me zero! who freaking deserves me? i just want to be loved ,is that so hard to ask for?” she screamed, tears following rapidly.

Her eyes widened at her outburst. “I-..” She did but after years of keeping everything to herself that merely expressing that she cared for the other was hard for her. She didn’t know what love was until Sulli and of course, she’d fuck it up by leaving the other because she believed she’d only mess up in time. “You deserve to be loved by someone who’s better than me. Better than him.” The man was an asshole, and she was a criminal; surely there were better people out there for the other.

    ‘’okay, i’m sorry. it was a slip of tongue.’’ she really did not mean to call her cute as she knew that the wolf was not comfortable with the nickname. however, it comes out of her mouth because of the other’s appearance. ‘’what shall i call you then? sweet? beautiful? pretty? i guess pretty will do.’’ hermione made a face as if she was thinking about it before she broke into a smile. ‘’i can handle. i believe i can. —- do you think my ass is cute? that’s a new compliment.’’

She huffed, knowing that it might not have been intentional but since her pack constantly teased her about it - the wolf got a little bit more defensive than she should be about it. A light hue of rosiness filled her cheeks at the compliments but Hyein attempted to pretend that she wasn't frazzled by it. "I can live with that." With a flair for dramatics, the wolf playfully flipped her hair before a hiss escaped her lips. She didn't realize she had a crick in her neck. Holding a palm to her neck, she tried to stretch it out. "It is though." Not that she was staring at it the other night. "You're the cute one. Not me."

     ❛ Well, you do like cats more than you like people and you do, like, live in your office. So, I get why you’d think that. But, that’s not true in my eyes. ❜ she says, resting her chin on her fist and looking out the window. She’s used to this rejection by now, but she only speaks truth. ❛ I’d think you’d make a wonderful girlfriend. You’re so nice and you take good care of the people you give a shit about and… y — you know, stuff like that. ❜ she finally looks up at her, scoffing. ❛ And what if I do get a girlfriend? You’re gonna be jealous, aren’t you? I know you are. ❜ 

“I think you’re just biased, being my best friend and all.” Alexia knew her most; she wouldn’t be surprised if the other knew her better than she did herself. “You mean I try to take good care of people I give a shit about. I don’t do that well.” Shaking her head, Avery sighed before her shoulder lifted slightly, “Well, do you have a girlfriend?” Honestly, Avery never thought about it; never thought that there was a chance that Alexia was actually seeing someone. In fact, she couldn’t even picture her friend dating someone. Why was that? “Why would I be jealous? We get a mutual somebody to tell all your embarrassing kid moments to.”

     ❛ Like I said, how the fuck should I know — ❜ Interrupted by the sudden phone in her hands, she looks down at it and sternly looks over the words on her notes. It seemed legit, and in fact, brought much nostalgia to the former criminal. She would be lying if she said she wasn’t skeptical, but she would also be lying if she wasn’t she wasn’t excited. ❛ Well… there’s not much to lose. Fuck it. Sure, I’m in. ❜ she says, shoving the phone back in the other’s grasp. ❛ We start tomorrow, right? Where did you even come from? — I mean, where are you saying?  ❜ 

“I swear, it’s legit this time..” She smiled, excited that the other agreed to come alone. Hastily taking back the phone, Zero shoved it into her pocket, “Yeap, tomorrow, bright and early so that we could gather the shit we need and then we’ll think and sort out some better plan of getting there.” She hesitated at the question. Zero may have done a couple of good jobs since their last encounter but that didn’t mean she was one to splurge around. Zero was meant to be like the shadows so having something that could trace back to her was always a bad idea. So instead of having her own place, Zero had chosen the alternative, “Just a hotel nearby. You know me. Can’t stay in one place for long.”

     Perhaps it was just the fact that she was desperate for any kind of positive attention at that point of the night, but this girl just keeps getting cuter and cuter by the second. Her reaction causes her to laugh. ❛ I won’t lie. I do think that it’s kind of creepy. But, uhm, yes. You’re cuter than you are creepy. And you don’t… seem like you’re trying to kidnap me or anything. Unless you drugged these, then I’m gonna have to ask you to leave.  ❜ she said, popping more chips into her mouth. ❛ I got it. Donghee, right? And what is someone like you, aside from taking my nachos, is doing at a diner in the middle of the night?  ❜

“Shit, sorry.” Her grin holding no hint of regret however. “You think I’m cute?” if her smile could grow even wider, it would. It was always nice to be complimented by a pretty girl; Donghee was taking it without a care in the world. “Yes, Donghee. That’s me. I am Donghee. I uh. I just happened to be here and then bored out of my mind sooo you know, like normal, I’d look around and then I spotted you. Lame story, I know but that’s how it is!”

        “i’m sorry for crying, is it making you uncomfortable?” she snapped, on the inside sulli felt terrible for the way she was treating the other. she knew the other was right, she had heard things about the guy that was trying to get her attention ,but she didn’t care in the moment. “that’s not your problem. i’m not your concern,” she mumbled, barely audible. “i’m going to be friends with whoever i want, whether you like it or not.”

“No, I just don’t like seeing you cry!” Her voice raised in volume, but the girl couldn’t help but act defensive about it. It was how she was all these years, no thanks to her previous families no doubt. She had thought that the habit died the moment she left the system since it no longer mattered who believed her or not but every now and then, it resurfaced. “Don’t get mixed with people like him.” Like her. They both knew how that ended, “You deserve so much better.”

     ‘’you can really just come whenever. i would be more than happy to have a cute company with me.’’ not that hermione didn’t have any company if she wanted but of course no one was like the little wolf in front of her. the girl had some kind of charm to her that no one else has. her charm was more than enough to keep hermione around. ‘’i’m sure it won’t be for the rest of your life but i’m willing to take the responsibility. you will have a nurse and i will have a lovely patient that i like.’’

"I'm not cuteeee." She still denied. Being a wolf and spending most of her time with her pack brothers, Hyein was not at all the girliest of people. She was rough, brash, and blunt most of the time. "I know I'm small but I'm not cute." She sulked although it came out like a pout. "You'd want to take care fo me for the rest of your life? That's a huuuuuuuuge responsiblity and I'll be such a pain in your cute ass." She laughed, knowing just how much of a pain she was when she was around her pack members.

           Pippa shrugged. “But it wasn’t your fault. You couldn’t control what was happening. If the guy had any sense he would have known that and left you alone in the first place.” She still wasn’t about to apologize – she really didn’t do apologies – but she did feel a little bad for putting the other girl in an awkward situation. Pippa found the other’s stumbling over her words adorable, and she flashed her a smile and nodded. “Sushi is nice.” She agreed. “Come on, I know a really good place a couple blocks away.” She took the other girl’s hand and started walking in the direct of the restaurant. 

"I guess." She sighed with a smile, seeing that she probably wouldn't be able to win this argument. Something told her that this might be a common thing with this soulmate of hers. Her eyes widened slightly when the other took her hand but eased up quickly after as she walked in sync next to Pippa. Her hand felt warm in hers and it just made her giddy like a elementary school girl that they were holding hands. Oh god. If she was this happy with just holding hands, what would happen if they did something more - Hyunjae quickly shook her head. The girl didn't want to go ahead of herself, but she was in awe to how much Pippa was affecting her even though they just physically met just now.

           Nari thought Hyunjae’s embarrassed mumbling was cute, but she just smiled and shook her head. “Allergic isn’t the right word.” She told her. “More like intolerant. As in, I really don’t like cats.” She admitted. She knew a lot of people liked them, and that was fine, but she really never understood. “Still, you’re pushing your luck, aren’t you? How long do you think you can keep it up?”

"Tofu's really good though, she doesn't scratch. She just.. inches away if she's scared but she doesn't scratch." Hyunjae scratched behind the cat's ear, causing it to leaned against her touch. "Did you have a bad experience with them?" Hyunjae dropped her attention to Tofu, "I can't really leave her home.. and I dont' really have anyone to petsit her either."
