You and Seungmin had your daily talk via Skype. You let out a hum, thinking everything was good. The conversation went well, not to mention he looked as dashing as the day that you'd realized you'd fallen for him—except now you guys were officially a couple. However, the only downside; it was not long into your relationship (to be specific it was about a few weeks—not even one month!) Yet Seungmin and his band were announced to have a tour in the States for about a month. Which also meant that the both of you weren't able to meet up in person; you won't be able to annoy him with love, smooches and cuddles for one whole month. 

As soon as you were reminded of your current predicament, your eyebrows instantly furrowed, and your smiling lips turned into a pout. 

Seeing the sudden change in your mood, Seungmin hurriedly hovered near the phone camera and asked, "Babe, what's wrong? You okay?" Sighing as you direct your gaze toward your lap to avoid his gaze, you answered, "Nothing. Just... Y'know, I just miss you and that's that. Nothing to worry about." Playing with your fingers, you finally plucked up the courage to look at him with a forced smile.

You however were greeted with the sight of Seungmin's infamous judging look, in response to that you tried batting your eyelashes at him. Eventually, it was his turn to let out a sigh as he adjusted his position by laying stomach flat on the bed with both palms cupping his face all the while staring at you with an adoring gaze. 

"Babe, you gotta start to be honest with your feelings. Smile and laugh when you're happy, cry, frown and pout when you're sad and so on." He paused before he continued. "You look so ugly right now pretending to be okay." 

Immediately the grin on your face disappeared and was replaced with a scowl, you purposely moved out from the frame. A childish act of revenge on Seungmin for ruining the mood. 

A loud whine was heard from your phone as Seungmin called your name with cries of apologies followed closely.

Serves you right. Hmph. 

This should act as a reminder for Seungmin to never mess with you and that you can get just as petty as him. What's funny was that even he acknowledged that both of you have an abundance of pettiness. You stayed out of frame for a few more seconds because a whiny Seungmin is a rare sight to behold. If he was willing to act this way, it just meant that he must've missed you terribly. The thought itself makes you feel butterflies erupt in your stomach, forcing you to give in after a short while.

Just when you appeared within the frame, "Y'know I didn't tell you but I definitely miss you a lot too! Probably much more than you do!" You almost disappeared from the frame once more, but this time it was due to his sudden outburst of confession. You were expecting his obnoxious laugh at your reaction. After all, Seungmin had a tendency to make  fun of your hilarious —yet entertaining— reactions. What you didn't expect was to find him lying face flat on the mattress. 

A giggle slipped past your mouth at the adorable sight, your heart fluttered a little when he lifted his head to look at you with his flushed face. Once your giggling had ceased, you laid flat on your stomach and cupped your cheeks, mimicking his posture. 

"What's with you today huh? So full of surprises."

"Well it's been two and a half weeks, I can't help that I've been missing you like hell." 

"So, the saying is indeed true."

"Huh?"

"People said that absence makes the heart grow fonder and I see that's applicable here."

"Not to mention, it certainly turns a certain tsundere into an honest fluff ball."

As soon as you spotted the first hint of annoyance, you struck him with a confession, effectively cutting him off and shutting him up simultaneously with a bonus of him hiding his face once again. 

Two blushy Seungmins in a day? Well, that was definitely something worth bragging to the rest of his members when you meet them.

Afterwards, the two of you talked a little while about random topics before calling it a day since he had a stage rehearsal planned for their concert the day after tomorrow, not to mention it was almost bedtime for you. And of course, you only reluctantly ended the call after forcing your boyfriend to give you a flying kiss. Honestly, it took a lot of convincing from you to get him to do that. Kudos to your persistent ass for getting Seungmin to do something he normally wouldn't. It might've just been the fact that he loves you too much to not give in to your requests every once in a while.

D-DAY

You were sound asleep on your bed, hugging a giant bolster—a temporary substitute for Seungmin while he was on tour. Until the persistent ringing of your ringtone broke through your peaceful slumber. 

Eyes closed, you blindly manoeuvred for a stray pillow to bury your face into, hoping to block out the incoming call. You tried, but it was a futile attempt, the loud ringtone still somehow managed to pierce through the pillow, the shrill sound manoeuvring into your ear. Letting out an unidentified sound—similar to something between a cry and a whine slip past your lips, you begrudgingly picked up the phone. All the while mumbling profanities under your breath, not sparing the caller ID a glance. 

The haziness in your mind instantly dispersed at the voice of Seungmin greeting you in a cheerful tone, you struggled; torn between being annoyed at him for waking you up at such an ungodly hour (it's a weekend, people are supposed to sleep in!) or happy that he even thought of calling you at such an early hour to greet you. Seungmin didn't allow you a chance to ponder over your dilemma, instead, he informed you that he'd be landing in about 12 hours. If you were still a bit sleepy earlier, you were certainly wide awake now. Again, without allowing you to respond, he told you that he'd be expecting you to pick him up from the airport. 

"Bye-" "Not so fast, Kim Seungmin. Please tell me this is a dream." Fortunately, you were able to cut him off before he could hang up on you. "Nope, it's not. I'll be boarding now, so see you in 12 hours, love you, baby. Muahh." Still laying in your bed, you stared at the ceiling, dumbfounded by the sudden revelation. Previous sleepiness gone, you took a look at your phone only to find out that it was seven in the morning. Groaning, you brought your hands to cover your face. You were on the verge of throwing a morning tantrum but were reminded of Seungmin's kiss before he ended the call. 

All of a sudden, your morning tantrum was forgotten, you tried to suppress a small smile before mentally willing yourself to get out of bed to start the day with some housecleaning before you had to pick Seungmin up from the airport.

Before picking up your boyfriend, you managed to get some cleaning done around your house while grumbling about him doing something so out of character. 

You even did grocery shopping and a short afternoon nap to compensate for your interrupted morning sleep. 

Only when your alarm rang at 6:30, you drove to the airport with mixed feelings of nervousness and anticipation. If you didn't love him this much, you think you might've just given him a piece of your mind for informing you of his arrival on such an impossibly short notice.

As soon as you reached the airport to pick up your boyfriend, you were pacing back and forth at the terminal that he'd be arriving at. Thank God he sent details of his flights before boarding. There was some time before his arrival, yet you found the waiting time to be extremely nerve-racking. Although the both of you had been face-timing on a daily basis, it couldn't be compared with being able to see him face to face after an agonizing two and a half weeks you'd been apart. At the thought of seeing him in less than 30 minutes, your palms started to get clammy; your heart started to beat rapidly, and you even had this weird queasy feeling in your stomach. Must be the pizza. You tried to convince yourself.

The sudden ringing of your phone successfully jolted you out of your nervous state, jumping slightly from your position, you clumsily fumbled with your handbag to retrieve your phone. A look at the caller ID revealed it was your boyfriend. Ohh, he arrived! Without wasting another second, you picked up the call.

"Hi."

"Still waiting for my luggage..." 

"Care to explain what's all this?" A teasing lilt evidenced in your voice as you finally got the chance to question him.

Somehow your question seemed to set off some sort of trigger in Seungmin as he just suddenly went on an aggressive ramble.

"Gosh, everyone knows I'm an ESFJ, I love to plan things ahead before actually doing them but damn- When it comes to you, what's a plan? Fuck that. I've missed you so bloody much. And especially the 'I've missed you' that you pulled on me yesterday? I don't think I can wait till the tour ends to see you." Even talking through the phone, you were able to pick up on his immense frustration of not being able to see you for barely a month.

"Hey hey, I'm telling you I can literally feel it through the phone. Now don't get too worked up, we'll be able to see each other in a while alright, Minnie?" Begrudgingly, he hung up the call, not before giving you a kiss. You sounded so chill but only God knew how nervous you were right then. 

As hilarious as it sounded, at one point, you were even practising what kind of facial expression you should have when greeting your boyfriend. Thinking hard about it, you were so absorbed in your thoughts that you had completely missed the towering figure behind you.

A small "boo" sounded beside your ear and the next thing you knew, you were being enveloped into a back hug that radiated a familiar warmth and scent. The scream died down in your throat as your body relaxed and laid backwards into Seungmin's embrace. Still hugging you, he dipped his head and looked you straight in the eyes as he chastised you for not having any sense of defensiveness. As expected of Kim Seungmin. 

"I swear to God I'm close to giving away all my precious belongings to them just so they'll let me fly over to finally see you-" He created a distance between the both of you before capturing your gaze with a wide grin, "Embrace you-" just as he finished the last syllables you let out a surprised squeak because he abruptly picked you up and gave you a twirl. You were a giggling mess, meanwhile, he just stared at you with an adoring smile as he finally placed you on the ground. Hugging you tightly— to the point that your whole body pressed snugly against him, with closed eyes he took a deep breath and finally finished his sentence, "And kiss you." Gently peeling you away from his embrace, he placed a long, firm yet sweet kiss to your smiling lips.

"Now now, I kinda forgot to tell you something..." Leaning away from the kiss and resting his forehead against yours, you detected a hint of sheepishness in his tone. Upon the discovery, you knew he was up to no good. 

"Well...?" You probed while Seungmin tried to break away from your intense gaze but a little pinch to his side was all it took for him to let out a yelp, maintaining eye contact with a pout.

"I'll be flying back tomorrow for the upcoming concert but this time I'm taking you with me."

"Wait- what???"

A loud whine was heard from your phone as Seungmin called your name with cries of apologies followed closely.

Serves you right. Hmph. 

This should act as a reminder for Seungmin to never mess with you and that you can get just as petty as him. What's funny was that even he acknowledged that both of you have an abundance of pettiness. You stayed out of frame for a few more seconds because a whiny Seungmin is a rare sight to behold. If he was willing to act this way, it just meant that he must've missed you terribly. The thought itself makes you feel butterflies erupt in your stomach, forcing you to give in after a short while.

Just when you appeared within the frame, "Y'know I didn't tell you but I definitely miss you a lot too! Probably much more than you do!" You almost disappeared from the frame once more, but this time it was due to his sudden outburst of confession. You were expecting his obnoxious laugh at your reaction. After all, Seungmin had a tendency to make  fun of your hilarious —yet entertaining— reactions. What you didn't expect was to find him lying face flat on the mattress. 

A giggle slipped past your mouth at the adorable sight, your heart fluttered a little when he lifted his head to look at you with his flushed face. Once your giggling had ceased, you laid flat on your stomach and cupped your cheeks, mimicking his posture.

Eyes closed, you blindly manoeuvred for a stray pillow to bury your face into, hoping to block out the incoming call. The haziness in your mind instantly dispersed at the voice of Seungmin greeting you in a cheerful tone, you struggled; torn between being annoyed at him for waking you up at such an ungodly hour (it's a weekend, people are supposed to sleep in!) or happy that he even thought of calling you at such an early hour to greet you. Seungmin didn't allow you a chance to ponder over your dilemma, instead, he informed you that he'd be landing in about 12 hours. If you were still a bit sleepy earlier, you were certainly wide awake now. Again, without allowing you to respond, he told you that he'd be expecting you to pick him up from the airport. 

"Bye-" "Not so fast, Kim Seungmin. Please tell me this is a dream." Fortunately, you were able to cut him off before he could hang up on you. "Nope, it's not. I'll be boarding now, so see you in 12 hours, love you, baby. Muahh." Still laying in your bed, you stared at the ceiling, dumbfounded by the sudden revelation. Previous sleepiness gone, you took a look at your phone only to find out that it was seven in the morning. Groaning, you brought your hands to cover your face. You were on the verge of throwing a morning tantrum but were reminded of Seungmin's kiss before he ended the call. 

All of a sudden, your morning tantrum was forgotten, you tried to suppress a small smile before mentally willing yourself to get out of bed to start the day with some housecleaning before you had to pick Seungmin up from the airport.

Before picking up your boyfriend, you managed to get some cleaning done around your house while grumbling about him doing something so out of character. 

You even did grocery shopping and a short afternoon nap to compensate for your interrupted morning sleep. 

Only when your alarm rang at 6:30, you drove to the airport with mixed feelings of nervousness and anticipation. If you didn't love him this much, you think you might've just given him a piece of your mind for informing you of his arrival on such an impossibly short notice.

As soon as you reached the airport to pick up your boyfriend, you were pacing back and forth at the terminal that he'd be arriving at. Thank God he sent details of his flights before boarding. There was some time before his arrival, yet you found the waiting time to be extremely nerve-racking. Although the both of you had been face-timing on a daily basis, it couldn't be compared with being able to see him face to face after an agonizing two and a half weeks you'd been apart. At the thought of seeing him in less than 30 minutes, your palms started to get clammy; your heart started to beat rapidly, and you even had this weird queasy feeling in your stomach. As hilarious as it sounded, at one point, you were even practising what kind of facial expression you should have when greeting your boyfriend. Thinking hard about it, you were so absorbed in your thoughts that you had completely missed the towering figure behind you.

A small "boo" sounded beside your ear and the next thing you knew, you were being enveloped into a back hug that radiated a familiar warmth and scent. The scream died down in your throat as your body relaxed and laid backwards into Seungmin's embrace. Still hugging you, he dipped his head and looked you straight in the eyes as he chastised you for not having any sense of defensiveness. As expected of Kim Seungmin. 

"I swear to God I'm close to giving away all my precious belongings to them just so they'll let me fly over to finally see you-" He created a distance between the both of you before capturing your gaze with a wide grin, "Embrace you-" just as he finished the last syllables you let out a surprised squeak because he abruptly picked you up and gave you a twirl. You were a giggling mess, meanwhile, he just stared at you with an adoring smile as he finally placed you on the ground. Hugging you tightly— to the point that your whole body pressed snugly against him, with closed eyes he took a deep breath and finally finished his sentence, "And kiss you." Gently peeling you away from his embrace, he placed a long, firm yet sweet kiss to your smiling lips.

"Now now, I kinda forgot to tell you something..." Leaning away from the kiss and resting his forehead against yours, you detected a hint of sheepishness in his tone. Upon the discovery, you knew he was up to no good.
