So I just saw Emily VanCamp will be at space con San Antonio in an appearance related to Marvel, and Emily never does anything related to Marvel just because, she's not the kind of person who goes everywhere talking about how she played Sharon in the franchise, so you think is there anything Sharon Carter related coming on Marvel? The only other person from Marvel scheduled to make an appearance is Tom Hiddleston but they are on slightly different dates.
apologies for the very late response as i’ve only opened my tumblr after many months
with the comics, we’re very sure that sharon is still present in the recent cap runs and i have no reason to believe that zdarsky or future cap writers will suddenly drop her character off the face of the earth for mcu synergy
as for the mcu, i really don’t think that EVC is coming back as sharon (which i think is a good thing because both EVC and sharon doesn’t deserve the disrespect both from feige, the screenwriters and the mcu fans). i think her con appearance may just be a “side quest” for EVC and nothing more.
i’m not all that familiar with Conventions and how the guests are chosen but purely basing on who i see gets invited every now and then, it really can be anyone as long as they played that character before or was affiliated with the media. it didn’t automatically mean that there will be future appearance by them.
