You must know that I am one of the underage WoX users.

I'm still with my family and honestly, they don't know about WoX. Why not? Well, my parents are not a fan of me doing anything on the laptop, especially when it comes to contact with "strangers". Why is stranger written in italics? Well, in the meantime I don't feel like I'm among strangers, I feel like I'm among friends, acquaintances, among people who all have a wish together. Which one? Having fun.

But for me, WoX also has a completely different meaning.

It gave me the opportunity to live my life differently, to try things out with a character you could build yourself.

Maybe not every person sees it that way, but I find that my characters are mirrored, in part.

An example.

America Everdan on WoD- Publicity Team, 24 years old, loves cooking but sucks at singing, is a crazy lady and lost her mother at an early age.

I have to say, I'm crazy, you can do anything with me, I'm bad at singing, and cooking, well, has potential for improvement....

The thing about my mother is only partly true... In 2020 she got cancer, I was young, not old enough for WoX. But I still made a WoX account, which no longer exists, because I realised later that I was too young, a few years later, when I was old enough,i made new accs.

So how did Wox help me? Well, I had people there who supported me, also people who hated me because i made some mistakes, but yk everyone has them.

So now I could live out the life I wanted with my character.

But soon I had to face consequences, my parents found out, they took WoX away from me. What they didn't know, it was too late, I would come back to WoX. I did and here I am, a person who loves to code, the wildest dramas are there and would like to share my view of the WoX changes.

So, I understand, making a site takes money, a lot of money. There are sites that cost 5,000-10,000 euros, others that are cheaper.

But Wox pages cost around 3,500 euros.

I can understand that you always have to refresh things, and that also costs money.

That you always want to make the site better and you have to refresh the domain. And I have to say then, actually, you are doing a good job. (yes Daniel, I'm talking to you.) I think the pages are very nicely designed, user-friendly and the concept of a roleplay page is very genius.

Also, kudos to you for giving thousands of people the opportunity to have WoX, and always trying to make the site better.

I think it's obvious that you're trying to do everything right. Well, maybe you're trying a little too hard... because...

What happens now?

You fire 16 wonderful people....

You say it was because of trust... you know, I don't know all these 16 people. But I am sure - every one of them, really every one of them, never thought they would be fired from one day to the next.

Well im going to think with your point of view: Someone becomes a bit dangerous/disrespectful to you - you take them away...Dont you can discuss/clarify the questions/the problem with them first bevore fire this people?

Because trust is built up, and not from fire people, rather with discuss. That means respectfully, nicely and everyone is allowed to say and ask and of course you are allowed to set limits.

You know, I'm not actually angry with you, no. I just think it's a bit sad that you can't bring yourself to talk to these people.

A few of these persons are currently there since 2017, then it's been a long time, and the MoM’s were leading great! (The new ones also ofc)

You lead them great too, i think you are a quite organised person.

But do you know how you manage to make the pages so great?

When you work toghether! t-o-g-e-t-h-e-r! The fired MoM's and the new MoM's are trying to do their best. 

You know, imagine you are the owner of a dog. The dog depends on its owner, because the owner allows the dog to have a nice life... Your dog doesn't always know what you want from it, the dog sometimes feels pressured and doesn't know how to express itself. Then the dog bites once by mistake, but the dog still loves its owner, but the owner leaves the dog on the street....

That's how I would describe the history between you and the 16 people who wrote you this letter.... 

I understand that the letter you received is already very emotional, accusing you of many things that may not all be true. But the truth is in between.

I'm not asking you to hire all those people (i.e. the dog) back, no... (although that would be nice) Because the people who have the job now are certainly doing the job well.

I'm not asking you to undo these VIP changes either....

I only ask for clarity...

The situation should be as clear as fresh water.

So that dog and owner can live well again.

Because I have to say, without you Dan, I would have never got into coding, never met such great people, and probably wouldn't be the confident crazy person behind my character now.

I repeat: I do not hate you. I do not hate anyone. I just don't agree 100% with the way everything happened.

Because a lot of hate has come against certain people through these things.

I am making an example here that happened in real life, but I don't want to mention the names.

In a particular server, one person got a job that became vacant when the 16 people were fired.

A person who was actually always nice to the person who got the job, suddenly starts hating. Says something like: "Oh well, that's too bad, you can't expect much from her".

It doesn't affect you Dan, I'm sure you feel the hate too, but the difference between person 1 and them. Person 1 can't help it, doesn't have much to do with this VIP change etc..

And yes, I'm also a little sorry for you that you feel hate, because I know the hate that people can give, but unfortunately that happens when people don't have clarity about the situation.

You say there has always been a hierarchy of jobs and normal users.

I agree! And according to you, this should be given a little more value? But is that positive?

I know what it's like to be a normal user and what it's like to have a job, think it's important as a colour jobber not to ride the "high horse".

Because at the end of the day we are all human beings, parents/students/bosses/daughters/ etc./ and WoX users or whatever.

Sure, those who have a colour with the name have certain advantages, should also be respected- but doesn't mean that they are better, have more rights and only they should be respected! And I have to say, in certain pages I have unfortunately experienced this hierarchy, and I think to mention this as a "pro-point" is a bit... weird.

Another point, why try it on WoP USA? One of the sites where probably the most people visit, the most people are affected... That means more chaos if something doesn't work, more hate if a lot of people don't agree- I think there is just way too much lack of open communication between you, the MoM's and the WoP USA users... Even if you announced it 14 days before, maybe you should have waited for the "ok" of the MoM's that they informed the WoP USA users. (->communication)

Another point, many users, I would estimate at least . 20%-40% of WoX users are underage and cannot buy a VIP...

And now a bit silly... the PT/BS of a character does not lose value if it is not coded... And many users would not find it bad to have a non-coded PT/BS and not pay the new prices of the VIP for it...

So you can make a profit like that then? No.

Also, the relations on the users' pages are mostly "fun relations"- again, something not many people would pay the new VIP price for- so pain for your wallet.

And the sig function…I dont think that many people would pay for a sig…

Then to the paid status-do you really think that many would pay 300 euros for a status? Well, I wouldn't do it, because with these 300 euros I can buy good food in the canteen for about 3 months - so to put this price in a three-digit amount is a bit... too greedy.

And do you know what that reminds me of? The concept: The rich get extras - the "poor" have to stay basic. 

You know, there's no shame in saying that you need more money for the pages-tell us openly and honestly-I would understand. (If everything is spoken clearly)

Even if you say that a little more money should go in for you- tell us- we can discuss it.

You have to believe me, many of the WoX users would agree with a lot of things just to keep WoX alive.

You would even find suggestions on how to get even more money with the WoX pages!

Because maybe for you, WoX is just a collection of sites that use money and give money. For others, it is much more.

Because at the end of the day- would you close the WoX sites, who loses something?

Not you. It's the WoX users.

A small world would collapse for them.

A world full of fantasy, a little oasis where many people recharge their batteries IRL.

A small world made up of people who love Role Play.

A small world of wonderful people.

And yes, you WoX users, you are wonderful, you are the ones who should be around forever!

You Dan,... we need you too.

For you are the one who enables us to create our dreams in this small world, to have joy and to find physical support on this side.

We all know you want the best for us and for you, but it's just the way you go about it that's the problem.

I just hope you understand what I and many other users mean.

Do what you want with me, ban me, I don't know, hate me!

I'll survive, I have a big ego to say that I'll put up with anything just for this post to reach people. Because I am one of those people who says everything directly, also sign my name here and send you beautiful nice greetings.

I still don't hate you, I repeat, I just don't agree 100% with the way you have decided all this.
