Over the centuries, the goddess found that some weeks tended to be easier than others; despite humans’ statistics when it comes to death counts, there were quieter times and lulls when the mortals seemed to be at peace with their lives. Just content in being rather than fighting, not wreaking havoc with their every action. Tonight was in the midst of these rare moments in history as if the world were bowing their collective head in reverence as if taking a slow breath before another onslaught of turmoil.

Most people around here were eager to leave Washington, and post-graduation presents often came in the form of new cars and dads’ old trucks. Not Seth though, not as long as he had his trusty motorbike; an upgrade from years of pushing pedals and skidding thin tread marks into the pavement of Forks and La Push as he delivered papers every morning in his youth. Though he’d relinquished the title when he’d started college last year, he was still fond of waking up before sunrise and taking advantage of having the full morning to spend with the pack before afternoon classes.

There were oh-so-few pleasures in life that Cisco knew he could enjoy anytime, anywhere that were as innocent as finding a place where he could purchase and sip cool, refreshing boba tea. It’d become a routine of sorts and tradition the male cherished on the weekends no matter where he was staying. In his line of work, especially in a day and age where traveling to film on-location and train actors in as similar of a condition as they were going to be choreographing elaborate scenes in was the norm.

Evenings at the gym where she’d picked up a job were surprisingly relaxed... well, at least for a place that made a living off of pumping upbeat jams all day. Honestly, if Effie had it her way, she would’ve taught all her classes after-school to give those with regular 9-to-5s a chance to attend but this wasn’t her place to manage. Instead, she resigned to her favorite class to teach being right before dinner for most – except herself, of course.
