alright here we go. this is the thing I’ve spent the last 3 months on, I’ve been working on it since Valentine’s day. It’s not perfect but it is the biggest experiment I’ve done and actually completed in RPGmaker to date.

Gardenias is a mod for LISA: the Pointless that you might gather has Richie as the protagonist and is themed around flowers.

It’s set before the events of the game, with Richie trying to navigate through some of the hostile parts of Garbage Island, where peculiar flowers have taken root amongst the cellophane, while also navigating his feelings for Roland - giving him a very rose-coloured view of his otherwise very bleak surrounds.

it’s gay. in fact the queer identity is something very central to it

somewhat aesthetically inspired by Dreaming Mary, and in some other ways too…

Richie has ‘armed’ and ‘disarmed’ states even as a player character, which effect his moveset

you can pick flowers and give them to NPCs

there are multiple endings, two neutral ones (camellia and violet) and two polar ones (morning glory and heather) …and a secret one?

rather than wholly building off the base game, all the playable maps are completely new and unique to Gardenias, as are most of the NPCs
