Gutsca forever ⚔♥

It's such a fitting detail that Guts and Casca first meet in a sword fight.

For both of them, their swords and their skill with them are the foundation of their characters. For Guts, the sword is the only thing that makes him feel safe and what he does best, while for Casca, iit's what gave her the purpose to follow Griffith and defend herself as a woman living in a man's world.

When Casca first appears in the Berserk manga, she is the only character whose face is not fully revealed, this is a deliberate choice in Kentaro Miura's storytelling (and his incredible writing) so that we see her face later during her confrontation with Guts and discover together that she is a girl.

Also, with just those 3 panels we can see her knowledge about her opponents; while the rest of the Band of the Hawk underestimates Guts, she knows what he is capable of.
