Seiji is very timid and soft spoken. He tries to be very aware of others and tries his best to help. Seiji is a bit sheltered because of his mom being so protective over him. He is also extremely soft, and fluffy a "walking pillow" (described by Tomo and others). He wants to be a great journalist some day.

Tomo in a lot of ways is the opposite of Seiji. He is very sharp tongued and is quick to anger (especially if anyone insults his friends) which tends to get him into trouble. Has a bit of a hard time thinking highly of himself, but has been making a little progress thanks to his friend. He wants to support Seiji's dream and break free from his own life that is essentially planned out for him after school.
