DENY. DEFEND. DEPOSE.

In the drafts of Evangelion Kaworu self harmed (not nearly this extreme though and it was only his scars that showed indication of it) but I kind of miss that. It would have been a good addition, considering his role as Shinji’s foil. 

That someone so ‘perfect’ has their own hidden struggles might have made Kaworu a little too human, though, so I understand leaving it out.
