Silence tactics were generally uncommon with law enforcement, the sniper had to admit that. It made her uncomfortable, to be so silent without the steady weight of a rifle resting at her shoulder. She shifted in her seat again, attempting to roll her shoulders as much as she was able to, and to straighten her back just a little bit more. She looked over to the other woman in the room again, raising a polished eyebrow with equal amounts of curiosity and contempt. “You’re not likely to get me confessing my sins like that, you know,” she remarked, her words sharp in breaking the surrounding silence. She hadn’t even spoken that loud, and yet the sudden sound of her voice made her want to wince. She controlled that urge, though.
