I really really love this set of dialogue in the comics…one of my absolute favorite parts.   It really reflects what I love about UtM Cheer.  In the older versions of Cheer…I don’t think she felt as genuine to me.  She seemed to be focused on cheering people up all of the time.  But here…she really just shows a deep level of support for who Grumpy is.  She doesn’t try to change him…she just tells him she’s there for him.  

It really shows how powerful of a leader she is and it’s a reflection of what great leaders do…use their abilities to uplift and empower others.   But it also highlights what’s great about Grumpy.  Even though he’s grumpy on the outside, he truly does care about everyone as well.   And Cheer brings that out of Grumpy.  She makes his personality into a strength and she shows how much she values him.
