when i stood with you alone in my office.

in between silences in front of you, nailed by your unblinking eyes

theses silences felt like a moment of solace

in between these silences you opened up your world to me without really speaking

us standing tall and strong like trees,

intertwining our crowns slowly

into a roof, an arc of safety

crowns leaning, learning the shape of shelter

for us feeling like animals crawling deep into their caves

our lips almost touching

studying the intimacy of this moment in detail

our little freedom

being careful not to untie knots

appreciating the virginity of this moment
