Asphalt pavements make up an overwhelming majority of paved roads in the world. The predominant technology for constructing these pavements is hot-mix asphalt (HMA), and it is currently the largest enduse of energy in most developed countries. HMA has been traditionally produced at a discharge temperature between 140°C and 180°C, resulting in high energy (fuel) costs and production of greenhouse gases. With growing environmental concerns and ever-increasing budgetary constraints, the use of Warm-Mix asphalt (WMA) is on the rise since it addresses both issues. WMA allows the producers of asphalt pavement material to lower the temperatures at which the material is mixed and placed on the road. Reductions of 30 to 50 °C have been documented. Such drastic reductions have the obvious benefits of cutting fuel consumption and decreasing the production of greenhouse gases. Engineering and construction benefits include better compaction of pavements; the ability to pave at lower temperatures, extending the paving season; and the potential to be able to recycle at higher rates.
You’ve created a product. A service. Or a business. You know what you’ve created is great and you’re convinced that all of humanity, or at least the percentage in your target demographic, will benefit from whatever you’ve got to offer. We all dream of creating a piece of viral content. The YouTube video that gets shared by millions and garners you a prime feature on CNN or the Today Show. The 140 character tweet that takes the Twitterverse by storm and generates hundreds or even thousands of RT’s. The blog post that is considered so beneficial that every person that reads it spreads it throughout their social network.
For a couple of years now infographics have been a very popular trend among brands as a way to promote what they offer. They’re visually creative, easy to understand and typically interesting. All of these factors combined make them shareable. Content worth sharing is content more likely to go viral.
Think about what you expect in revenue, based on the video message and marketing. What is it worth to you to get 100 new customers or more? When you think about it in these terms, it is easy to see that video is worth the price.
Improved conversion rates. Remember, confused minds won’t have a need to purchase your product, so you want to answer as many questions as possible about your services in the video. By simply, cleanly, and quickly explaining your objective, you’ll be able to reach customers that are legitimately interested in the solutions that you have to offer. By clarifying the objective of your product, you can generate increased interest that results in improved conversion rates. In fact, recent studies have shown that conversion rates can improve by over 100 percent as a result of a well-produced explainer video.
Investing with a high return. With increased conversion rates, you’ll certainly see the return of your investment in an explainer video. With so many marketing opportunities beckoning your business’s attention, it’s important to choose the marketing solutions that yield the highest rate of return. If you’re working on a limited budget or simply want to budget wisely, it’s important to consider the return on investment of any marketing opportunity. With a track record of doubling conversion rates for many businesses, it might be worth investing in an explainer video!
Attracting consumer attention. In today’s society that’s oversaturated with advertisements, consumers tune out marketing whenever they have the chance. Because explainer videos allow you to promote your brand and services without being sales-y, customers are more willing to pay attention and remember your business in a positive light. Furthermore, customers that are truly intrigued are likely to want to learn more on their own and even talk about your brand to their friends.
The opportunity to entertain. Check out this explainer video from Alternative.ly. What makes this video successful is its ability to evoke an emotional response and entertain the viewer at the same time. Despite all of these technical and creative considerations, the video does an excellent job of addressing the WHO-WHAT-WHY of their business. If you produce videos on YouTube on a regular basis, a strong explainer video will encourage viewers to check out your other content so that they can learn more about your brand.
Letting consumers know you exist. Ultimately, the point of any marketing video is to let consumers know that your brand exists and explain why they should perform business with you. With an explainer video, you knock out both objectives with a single video, which in turn boosts your ROI!
Take Your Infographic To The Next Level: Video
If you’ve already created an infographic for your brand, or you have conceptualized one, you’re already half way to creating a great explainer video. According to several different sources, the ROI for an explainer video ranges between 70-80%. Well worth the investment wouldn’t you say?
If you’re ready to start working on an explainer video for your brand I’d be willing to help you along the way. I’ve worked with several great production houses in the past and I’d be happy to connect you. - studios.branwork.com
Branding is a way of clearly highlighting what makes your offer different to, and more desirable than, anyone else’s.
Effective branding elevates a product or organisation from being just one commodity among so many identical commodities, to become something with a unique character and promise. It can create an emotional resonance in the minds of consumers who choose products and services using both emotional and pragmatic judgements.
It is very important to test a brand through all stages of development while you are building it as well to test-market the brand before it is broadly launched. If you don’t, you may find yourself with a loser in market. That said, sometimes a brand is wildly successful all by itself. These brands require very little test-marketing because demand research in the concept stage clearly shows it’s going to be a huge winner. It won’t need significant revisions based on in market results.
