it is! it’s brilliant. you could visit me in egypt and i’d show you the pyramids and all. rather exciting since there’s ancient curses and unknown treasure hidden in the depths of the ground. {` grins brightly at the mention of his hometown } ahhh, seems like we have something in common. {` wrinkles his nose } it’s just odd being called by my birth name, really. {` smiles } good! lemme grab my broom and we’re off to go! {` rises from his seat and starts walking to the direction of the boys’ dormitory } you would not believe how beautiful it looks like. the grip is way better than firebolt and definitely faster. if you’d like, you can have a go at it. 

{Grins and nods} Now I really wanna see Egypt! As long as I don't get cursed, okay? {Chuckles a little, walking to get to the girls dormitory too} I'll grab mine too, even if it is inferior! I heard British-made brooms are some of the best in the world! Maybe I'll consider an upgrade if I take a liking to your broom, you make it sound amazing though... {Runs up to grab own broom, pulls on some leather riding gloves and comes back down to the Common Room, waves a little} Sorry to keep you waiting~

{Grins and nods} Ahh, I was trying to make all the words start with G, I suppose it limited my choice! Next time, I'll think up a better way to introduce my house! {Nods determinedly} Yeah, I just started Hogwarts. Before now, I was at a school in Japan, Mahoutokoro. I spent the Summer in England before transferring here!

Oh, it’s great. (‘/ hums, sucking on his bottom lip slightly as he thinks about what could possibly be interesting about himself; furrows his eyebrows and eventually shrugs) Um… Just a hardworkin’ Christian Cowboy ma’am. Nothing really to see.

{Grins} Hmm~ I'm sure you're more interesting than that! Are you from America, then? I sort of figured, with the accent... {Looks up, trying to think for a moment} Ah! I remember someone told me about this once... Are you from the "Wild West"?

[` laughs as she shook her head `] well, did you here about a student who got set on fire?  [` smirks as she points to herself `] well i’m both discreet and scandalous 

{Tilts head and laughs a little} Eh? Student who got set on fire?! {Blinks} You did that? {Whistles} Discreet and scandalous for sure! What happened?

-Stays silent as she tries to formulate the right words in her mind- Do you happen to know anyone a part of the Gryffindor quidditch team? Or has my lucked served me well for once and you’re on the team? 

{Listens to you and grins} Ah, actually, I'm a chaser! But I know some of the others too. {Pauses} Why, is there something you need? I can help!

Right. We’re all scared of something. ( — nods, looking down at her feet for a moment) Thank you, I suppose. ( — bites on her lower lip, thinking) No, I don’t think so. I haven’t really experienced heights, but sometimes I stand a little too close to the edge of the Astronomy tower and… Hm, I guess I just like knowing where I stand and having it safely there… If that makes sense. ( — chuckles lightly)

{Smiles and nods} Don't feel silly about it, or anything... Compared to some other people, it's a really rational feat! {Tilts head, thinks a little} I see what you mean. It makes most people sweat a little, to stand on the edge of a tall building. I think it's the possibility of what could, hypothetically, happen... But I'm sure nothing bad's going to happen to you, right? {Grins} Even if you did get on a broom, you would be perfectly secure, you don't notice you're even high if you don't look down~

{Chuckles a little and nods} I wouldn't want you to be sad, I'm sure we'll be in at least a few classes together, right? Ah, you don't like potions? {Grins} I hate it with a passion, actually. We have that in common. {Tilts head and thinks} My electives are Dragon Studies, Elemental Studies and Astronomy~

You don’t know about Pokemon?? Ah, Yoshi looks like a Pokemon, I guess. (smiles and nods; Pokemon are like animals with powers! They’re really cool and you can train them and battle them against each other and the point of the game is to beat the Pokemon League, and all the Pokemon there are really high leveled and stuff! (pumps a fist in the air and grins proudly; I beat the Pokemon league five times in one game.

{Blinks, completely confused now} Ah, you won, then? I'm impressed! {Looks around} Where can I find a Pokemon? Do you have one? {Doesn't understand the concept of videogames at all, grins happily anyways}

[She nods a few times before frowning slightly] I hope so. I’m not really good with directions, but if I recognized something I’m sure I will be able to find my way back!

{Smiles and nods quickly} At least you have that! I keep getting hopelessly lost and having to get my new friends to come find me... I'm sure we'll both get used to it eventually, ne?

{Laughs and nods} I'll try to be a good Kohai. {Slightly surprised you speak Japanese, grins and replies in Japanese too} I didn't think you could speak Japanese! I'm from Saitama, but I traveled around lots of the country too!

Yeah! Isn’t there a Pokemon amusement park in Japan? (hums cheerfully and grins; We don’t have anything fun in Canada, at least not that I’m aware of. (purses his lips;

{Blinks, not too clued up on the muggle world} Pokemon? Ah, is that like... Ano... Someone told me about a game video character, Yoshi? Is Pokemon like that too? {Grins} Sorry, I don't really know much about it...

Ooh, Japan? (he makes an “o" with his mouthh and opens his eyes wide; I’ve always wanted to go to Japan, but my parents couldn’t take me. 

{Laughs} Ah, is that so? Hmm~ Maybe if I go back one day, you can visit me! {Nods quickly} That'd be fun.
