Lake Michigan dumped me :(

Recently I have been very bothered by fat phobia snuck into unrelated self help books. Ambushing readers who are just a little thick/curvy as over eaters just as bad or worse then alcoholics/drug users. As i usually do with the books I just tried take sections that are inappropriate/harmful with a grain of salt but when the authors kept harping on it I decided to pick up some crime/murder mistory novels that I kinda use like trash TV and there again was met with fat phobia and what seemed to me to be glorifications of restriction/ over exercise. I just can't win. It's like every time I escape a fat shammer and start to re embrace myself some one else pops up to tell me what an ugly disgusting fat fuck I am. Like bro I'm just trying to read/listen to books and get through another day in this already hostile environment.

Happy Father's day to me! I'm am proud today to wish my self a happy father's day. While all the want to be father figures in my life have come and gone like I'm some sort of toy left on the community playground I have continue to show up for myself. Learning, protecting and standing up for myself more and more each year.
