WARNINGS â some swearing, and idk if I should add this but uhh very random (but good!) food combo
it happened when you and Bakugou were studying in your room for the upcoming quiz
you were 2 hours into your study session, when you were able to understand the lesson slightly but you still couldnât answer all of Bakugouâs questions
seeing you stressed out over the lesson, he decided to play nice boyfriend and gave you a 10 minute break
you were happy when he told you that, giving him a peck on the cheek and ran to your cupboard to look for something to munch on since studying always gets you hungry
when you opened your cupboard though, there was only chocolate powder
âoh nothing!â you would reply while thinking of what and how to eat with only the chocolate powder present in your cupboard
then you remembered something your mom would do at home
after a meal, she would take out some chocolate powder and placed a generous amount of it on top of her rice
you unknowingly forgot about that until this very day, since you got yourself pretty hungry and craving for a snack
âthere should be rice in the common room kitchenâ with that thought in mind, you rush downstairs to get two bowls of rice
Bakugou was caught off guard, were you really that hungry today?
after about five minutes, you got back in your room with your boyfriend looking at you with the âwhat the fuckâ face
âdid you forget your sides?â he would ask with a raised eyebrow
you just shake your head in disagreement and placed the bowls infront of him on your desk then you took the chocolate powder and placed it on the desk as well
before Bakugou could even complain, here you were topping the rice with spoonfuls of the choco powder
we all know the man is a chef and he just thinks that what you are doing now in beyond ridiculous
when you grabbed a spoonful of the food and motion for him to eat it:
âcome on Katsuki!! it will taste good I promise!!â
âwhy donât you eat it first so I know that it isnât fucking poisonous?!â
you did as he said and ate what was on the spoon, a rush of childhood happiness ran through your veins as you were finally able to eat what your child self craved for so long
Bakugou was surprised with how you reacted
he thought you would cough out the powder and try to get the taste off of your tounge but no
youâre actually enjoying it?? what??
surely it wont be that bad if you handled it so well
and so he takes another spoon and scooped some of the food from the other bowl
he kept it in front of him, still pretty skeptical even though you already proved that it isnât bad
he had second thoughts and said âno.â yet again
you were kinda sad that he isnât eating it, but then you remembered something Kirishima taught you to use against the egoistic pomeranian
âHm⌠I guess Iâll just ask Kirishima to try it.â you say, trying to pick up the bowls but Bakugou wasnât letting you do just that and ate the spoonful
you could hear how angry he was by how he clamped his teeth on the spoon, almost breaking it
it actually isnât that bad??
Bakugou had a soft neutral expression on his face as he munched on the food
you also took another spoonful to much on as you waited for his response
âeh?? but itâs chocolate, of course itâs sweet!!â
âyou couldâve used dark chocolate or add some spices you knowâ
âitâs supposed to be sweet, Katsuki!!â
âyeah yeah whatever dumbassâ
but did he actually liked it??
you really wanted to ask but if heâs still eating it then that would probably mean that itâs goodâŚright??
although Bakugou doesnât really have a sweet tooth like you, he thinks this chocolate or rice thing is pretty acceptable
he wonât admit it but he really likes how the rice neutralizes the sweetness of the chocolate powder
heck, he could have this as breakfast if he wasnât feeling like eating a full meal and make a drink
after that day, you would find him entering your room at random times of the day after his training session to get the chocolate powder from your cupboard and eat it with left over rice in the fridge
his usual excuse would be âI wanted something sweet after my trainingâ
you would join him though, because you get to tease him about how âunlikelyâ it was for him to take on your food combination and have it every couple of days
he would only eat it around you though just cause he doesnât want anyone else to try your couple food
âwanna try eating rice with chili powder?â
A/N â this was definetly inspired by that one time when my mom pulled out the chocolate powder and did this. 10/10 would recommend! I wanted to do a scenario for this one but I donât have the motivation to do so ;0; this is a pretty unusual hc though but oh well I just wanted to get this out of my system hehe 𤧠reuploaded this cause TAGS
