Sete’s commentary of the last lap of Brno 2003:

I really wanted to win this race but I think there was someone in the race track, and this is the guy we can see behind me, that had to win or die.

I got everything almost right. I was pulling away in some places and I made a small mistake right there. That was my error, right there. Came into that corner with a quite big lead and I pushed the front all the way through the corner. If he hadn't catched up there and he wasn't as close as this in this braking area, he would never pass me. I changed my line again right there to be able to try to square the corner out and get him into the last corner. He just accelerated real good and there was sliding and I couldn’t make it.

He was very happy because he needed to win that race. He needed that big time because the whole press and everyone was starting to give him a hard time.
