The process of licensing music for skate videos is not a cheap or easy one and often skaters have to rethink the dream song they want to skate to. We sat down with some of the Vans Skate Team Riders to see what their top songs to skate to in The Vans Video, Propeller, were.

Man, I was so glad when Greg Hunt said the old guys aren’t having parts. I was like, “Thank fucking god!” I’ve been doing the same six tricks since 1983, longer than that actually. You can go watch my video part for Black Label in the early thousands and I pretty much shot my wad with that. I put everything I could on video for it. I maybe have three or four more tricks since then and nothing spectacular. It’s not like I’m advancing at some Colin McKay/Danny Way rate. I just roll around and have a good time; I’m old and I’m broken. If I can get a little finger flip lien to tail or a roast beef air in there to make people smile, cool. But to actually carry a whole part that’s a whole bunch of responsibility and undue stress I don’t need.
