Thxgiving
Dranksgiving 2K16 was puhretty enjoyable this year. To sum it up, Thanksgiving is not truly itself with out a culmination of factors, including but not limited to: -Grandma dictating all of her subordinates in the kitchen -My aunt and myself hovering over the turkey eating the skin like Cartman with his KFC -Grandpa carving the turkey and his damn doubled up paper bags he uses for garbage -Aaron eating a whole goddamn jar of applesauce. -Aunt Stacy wedged in between Me&Sam -Grandma's elaborate display of tradition with her meticulous table setting. Everything from the crystal butter dish, the gold rimmed plates adorned with holly, to the poinsettia(?) napkins. -The painstaking process of gingerly tip toeing around touchy subjects at the dinner table that us younger generations have mastered. -ALL THE BOOZE BC LIVERS DON'T MATTER ON TURKEY DAY. -The women looking at the Black Friday ads at the table over dessert while the two men nap -Grandma's sweet humming while she takes on a stovetop of good ole MidWestern mush. #CasserolesOnCasseroles Without a doubt, spirits are high and it's always a great time ((overall)) También, I have truly been granted such great gifts as grandparents and their great care and pride for everything: their children and grandchildren, even the small things like the unfaltering & annual presentation of holiday table settings. These things make my heart sing. They are mine and we are all so gladly theirs. With so much terrible in this world, it's the smallest beams of light that keep everyone afloat as we all endure this fucked up typhoon. Regardless, I hope everyone was able to enjoy the time they had and drink enough gravy to last them another 364 days. Ciao babez.
