A similar string of agreements fall from Hunter's mouth, slowly walking backwards, but not yet turning away from her. Even if he does want to shove his face into a pillow and scream, he's still reluctant to stop talking to her...
"Cool! Cool..." He laughs nervously, but then raises a hand and waves at her, smiling awkwardly, and saying softly, "Bye Willow."
At least he didn't need to be too appreciative as this was a favour for a favour. He remembered the day Hunter came to the tower, traitor of the H.I.V.E with nowhere to go. And although Robin didn't entirely like it, he let him stay that night while he figured things out.
Things figured out alright, a team of his own and now in the same position Robin was with an olive branch extended. Robin won't say it aloud, but seeing him set on the right path was... good.
Still doesn't mean he trusts him.
"Mess with your team and deal with you more than necessary? I wouldn't count on it." There's a less serious note to his tone at least.
"Isn't there... another way? I've never actually, uh, travelled by mop before."
Hunter narrows his eyes at Robin. "It's a staff, it looks nothing like--" He starts up, but cuts himself off when he realizes that there's no use.
"Did you think that we were going to leisurely walk over? My staff can teleport us both there in seconds, and it's got a better shot with long distances when you sit on it--unless you'd like for your head to be temporarily displaced in the middle of teleportation."
Actually, Hunter wouldn't mind that...

I want it to be known that, in modern day Gravesfield, Caleb would work as a curator for the town's Historical Society. He doesn't have a history degree, but everyone notices that he knows a crap ton about the town's early days (considering that he lived through them), so it winds up being the best job opportunity for him to pursue. It's only when he takes a step back from working that Jacob Hopkins manages to get a higher position, and yes that man's existence annoys him to no end, and he's working on getting him fired.
While working for the Historical Society is his main job, he does have his own independent e.tsy-eque business called 'Cardinal Carvings' to pull in some extra money, and sells various woodworkings of his online. His business is always a hit at the annual Halloween Festival and various community events too, setting up his own stall, and even providing demonstrations.

"The Captain? O-Oh, I mean, we're just... Who am I kidding? She's amazing," He confesses, rubbing the back of his neck and trying not to smile too hard. "I think she's a little harsh on herself sometimes, but she's got the biggest heart. She's kind, and strong, and pretty I mean, pretty capable!

We figure that Belos would've erased any mention of him...
I'm not sure if I'll ever really get answers? Maybe I don't need them ...but if he really did choose to stay here and stop hunting witches, then I hope he was happy for the little while it lasted."

willow lets out a sigh. a conflict brewing inside her. " i-i like the idea of helping make the isles a better place, but... i don't know if this is the right way of doing that. " she would want to make the isles a better place for everyone— wild witches included. she wrings her hands in front of herself nervously. " but i hate letting people down. " even if they are the golden guard. who she's still pretty upset at. and her dads would be so disappointed in her if they found out she didn't even try. " how dangerous are these tryouts? "
He's quiet, giving her the moment to actually ponder it over. "You'd be directly joining the most prestigious and powerful coven. It's a rare and great opportunity for any witch ...but, I guess I can understand needing some time to think about it."
Actually, he doesn't totally understand it, but he's not about to discourage her in any capacity now.
"Nothing that I'm confident you can't handle," He assures her, crossing his arms and tilting his head slightly. "Since you've got my approval, you get to skip right over the witch's duel stage and straight to the maze. All you have to do is evade any traps and coven scouts that will try to stop you, but if you can do that and escape, then you're in!"

willow's hand drops back to her side once she's accomplished what the gesture was meant to do. " you protect people by signing them up for things without asking first? " she questions more rhetorically. she lets his words linger for a moment, considering them. " it should matter more, so you're trying to change things by seeking out witches like me? you're trying to recruit witches like me to improve the coven's image? " a pause. " and what was the last thing you said, i couldn't quite hear it with the.... " she gestures to her face with her index finger, referring to his mask.
"Well... that's kind of how things work in the Emperor's Coven, yeah," He admits, scratching the back of his head. "All part of the duty that comes with making the Isles a better place!"
When she points up at his mask, he fights the urge to adjust it so that he's sure it won't fall. He's... not that keen on her seeing his face right now.
"It was nothing," He dismisses with a small shake of his head, and bites back a sigh. "The point is that you're the ideal candidate. I... can't say anything to get you to reconsider, can I?"
