i used to use google docs but with the rise in ai scrapping (and the fact that i've had almost all of my past works fed into ai already 😕) i switched to an online writing platform called ellipsus. it's free to join, has a lot of great functionality, is anti-ai, and is made by writers for writers.

i'm still pretty new to using it but it has customizable themes and you can invite collaborators etc. i highly recommend it!
