Hey! Recently started to ship Danse and Curie and sadly there's almost none content for them at all! Was wondering if you could do some headcanons about how they would be as a couple, if you don't mind. Thanks!
It would most likely have to take place after the events of blind betrayal and after Danse has some time to come to terms with his true being.
Even then they’d have to spend quite a while becoming friends and danse warming up to his fellow synth before any of the magic happens.
In the beginning of their relationship, they’d both take things ridiculously slow. Using the time to get to know each other even more and familiarize themselves with the new sensation of love.
For once Curie would be the more “dominate” one in the relationship. What I mean by that is Danse would be lost on what to do and so awkward that she’d just have to giggle.
Danse becomes really proud of his partner, thinking very highly of Curie because of her kind nature and intelligence. Beyond that, he’d form a particularly strong bond with her after she patched him up countless times.
The first time they kiss, Danse turned tato red- awkwardly trying to bend down for the far shorter woman to have a better angle, only to end up bumping her nose with his forehead as she pulled away. He felt so bad...
After a while though, they both became almost domestic. Danse wouldnt go out on as many mission with sole, Curie would start moving some of her studies into the comfort of their new little home and so on.
Speaking of which, Curie finds a pleasant peacefulness in fixing the occasional glass of nuka cola during a break in her work- fixing another for her Paladin to bring out to him as he worked tirelessly on making their house a formidable home.
Danse can’t help but be over protective of Curie. No matter how much she reassures him that she is in fact capable, he has none of it. Because of this, you can almost guarantee anytime Curie has to go out for a specific specimen, he’s right there behind her with a snarling glare at anyone or anything that dares pose a threat.
